Perseverance not unlocking??

ive retryed a race OVER 200 times, no achievement. i dont get this at all, ive done this about 50 times, then came in 1st place, no achievement. any help would be great

this achievement is glitchy as f**k :P

i was in the same problem as you. here is what i did.

1. Start a flatout mode race in derby class
2. Restart the race 10 times, ONCE the 3-2-1 is gone
3. Race the 3 laps but come in 7th or worse
4. Hit retry from the menu that comes in post-race
5. Start the race and just keep racing it, on lap 2 it just popped up for me i was soo confused

give this a try and let me know if it worked

ill try it out, hope it works.... also if anyone has a few answers for me with these 2 things. 1st flatmobile bonus races... i just completed flatout mode, not the time races tho, and i only have 1 bonus track... also why can i not buy the last 2-3 cars in each class... the explaination behind these should be stated somewhere but i cant find it

yes, your trick did work for me. what i did was stayed in about 7th place the whole race with an unupgraded chili after quiting out the 10 times in the begining. thank you so much, i dont know how many headiches i got over that achievement

Worked for me, but got it on the 3rd lap, not the 2nd. Weird achievements in this game.

All you have to do is hit the reset button guys, veer off the course a couple of times and hit the Reset button about 5 times...About 30 seconds of work lol..

yup antos method worked for me too, after like 40 attempts to get it =]

I got it by restarting 10 different races again, I tried starting over and over at the same race and it didnt work so I just played the game and when i crashed in a race i started again, and after the first ten races of the derby class in flatout mode i got the achievement

This one is easily achieved by chance. I just got it when I was trying to over and over again to get a gold on one of the Time Trials

You have to reset or restart a lot (like 10 times) and then get the first position in the race. After 3 seconds in the lead, it will pop up (at least this is what worked for me);

I restarted like 10 times (After 3-2-1) then deliberately trying to lose the race, it randomly popped up on first lap..

Dosn't work for me. 10 restarts, finish 9-th, restart, finish, nothing. So sad ( Game exteremeely hard and no fan comparing with Flatout 2...

I got mine about a few minutes, all you need to do is speed ahead and actually crash (basically drive straight ahead off course after start, then retry. I had trouble with some of the tracks and got this just about pulling my hair out lol the irony.
