cod 2 vs cod 4

I have beat cod 4 on vet. I was woundering how hard this game on vet is compared to cod 4 because ill be getting it tomorrow on gamefly.

I beat COD4 on Vet with difficulty in the common difficult parts. I have had no trouble in COD2 during both the Russian and British campaigns. I am now getting my ass kicked on D-day. So IMO US missions = hardest parts of COD4

I thought it was pretty similar I bet both games in under a week on vet.
But COD:3 is very hard compared to 2, and 4

CoD2 on veteran is harder for sure. I beat CoD4 in two sittings on veteran; it wasn't bad at all. CoD2, however, took me probably about 2 weeks or so. It's tough.

Don't double post. But I found Call of Duty 4 to be way easier than Call of Duty 2. I'm just guessing because I had more FPS experience. Especially from Call of Duty 3. The U.S. missions will definitely make you very very angry

I have beaten both COD 2 , 3, 4 games on Veteran. All the games have their hard spots, but awesome games.

Dunno....I personally thought 3 was the easiest and 2 slightly harder than 4....i don't know what it was about 3 it just felt so predictable that i was kind of expecting where the Nazis would turn up. I also think that 4 is the best of the bunch....2 was great but 3 was very repetitive. I hated it. Anyone else with me? And now I learned Treyarch (makers of cod 3) are making cod 5. So now i'm going to have to wait for a while for a good call of duty game.

I liked playing COD 2 on vet more. But I found it harder. Especially on the American levels.

I find COD 4 slightly harder...mainly due to several missions that i had to play against the time.

i find cod4 harder. mostly cuz i can NOT seem to defeat the one shot one kill mission no matter how many times i try. all the hardest cod2 missions i eventualy beat after 30-45 minutes of trying. but im at probably 3 hours of gameplay on just the last checkpoint in one shot one kill and i just cant do it.

trust me !!! cod 2 is miles harder than cod 4, the only part that cod4 is harder than cod 2 is no fighting in the war room.( no bloody checkpoints!!!)

it depends some people will own 1 level and some people wont. sometimes u think u havea quite good checkpoint but its rearly dogs bolox

the only hard mission on COD4 is Mile High Club but i still beat that in less than 10 tries. COD2 though is way harder as D-Day is REALLY hard of veteran. As well as many other missions.

CoD4 is overall harder, but CoD2 at peak difficulty (at toughest moments) are harder. So for me it is like CoD2 I get stuck on various points.

I found them to be about the same, I just finished up CoD2 last night and it was definitely hard. But It felt almost the same as CoD4 difficulty wise. The main thing that I noticed is that CoD4 had much better checkpoints. It seemed that I had to go much farther back after dieing in 2 then in 4. But 4 has the Mile High mission, which that one mission is harder then any segment in CoD2. 2 doesn't have a 60 second part of the game that takes an hour and half to beat

i just finished the campaign on cod2 and man it was hard...Capturing objectives in british missions, post office...
The tiger mission was pretty brutal.
And the last mission...thank god its short

Actually it does have checkpoints if you're quick enough. I found that out. Hence i got shitloads of checkpoints cos my time was good In cod4. I had routines to get through levels, with cod2 however i'm much more freelance. I found D-Day surprisingly enjoyable. Just got the last british mission and the last 2 american. 1/3 through the brit one so tomoz = Cod2 VET

I thought in general COD2 was harder overall with the exception of NFITWR and Mile High Club, which are probably tougher than anything in COD2.
