Urgh I hate smart phones. What's the point in half the things they do, like wifi? I thought phones already had a wireless connection so why the need for another.

And they also tend to be huge. Except for the damn overpriced iphone.

I'll stick with a pocketsized phone with a decent camera. And I'll use my laptop if I decide I need portable wifi.

I don't know. It's just something about the style that grasps me. I may have to opt for the slimmer and smaller Blackberry Pearl. I finally got Ninja Gaiden today I'm super happy. Now Uncharted should be arriving soon.

edit: Awh, I must the smart phone. The plan is fairly darn expensive if I buy the phone from the wireless company. Ah well. More money for me!

I'd assume the movie as it comes with most PS3 bundles. My gf got it and tried to trade it in but so many people have done that that it's not even worth the hassle.

I got Resident Evil Extinction today. Just watched it and loved it. I didn't get a chance to see it in the cinema so I made up for it by getting the Bluray version.

Also bough DMC4. I'm kinda pissed about that, my gf wanted it so she put it in my hands and told me that I wanted it. Being that I'm a sucker for anything she says (I think she knows the Jedi mind tricks) and I did kinda want it, I ended up buying it. So there's an extra game for me to be playing now...if I can get it out of her PS3.

- Superbad

Not really a movie you want to see in High Def. It's a Comedy, so there's not much of a Soundtrack either. The Visuals will of course be Clear and Sharp, but it's not worth the money. I would know because I bought it.

- Gone In 60 Seconds

I've seen this in a regular DVD format and in Blu-ray. The details on the Cars are amazing! Not to mention all the Action in the movie as well. Punching my DTS 6.1 setup sounds excellent on it.

- Terminator 2(T2)

I'm not into T1, so I decided to pick up T2. My Dad use to own this on LaserDisc. Yes, LaserDisc! The Visuals are awesome! When Sparks start flying, things Explode, and the Glass shatters...you can really see the sharpness. Need I say anything about the Sound? It's Terminator people!

That's my Mini Review on those certain movies. I haven't watched the others yet.

Cheers dude. I could get Superbad for £12, hmmmm. I didn't see it at the cinema nor on normal dvd yet, so might get it just for the hell of it Gone in sixty seconds is a classic, will have to pick that up aswell.

I really liked this film on dvd but sadly the blu-ray version was a disappointment as it didnt look any different from the dvd and it isnt the extended version which sucks. The only good bits were the explosions at the end of the film. Id wait to see if the extended version comes out.

- Commando - 5/5

This film was amazing on blu-ray and its a good transfer for a 1986 film. Only down side is that it is the uncut version but not the full directors cut version so there are bits with a machete cut, its only 2 min so who cares.

- Beowulf - 3/5

I didnt see this at the cinema but it was recommended by a friend so I bought it. I didnt know it was all CGI, It looks amazing on blu-ray but the films story line and action scenes are a bit boring so thats why I said it was shit. Its kinda like King Arthur if you have seen that.

- Terminator (T1) - 3/5

This wasnt good in my opinion, the viedo and audio has been improved so that an up but the extras are the same as the dvd so there is nothing really new here, only buy it if you are a die hard Terminator fan or like cheesy soundtracks and messed up story lines that make no sense .

- Face Off - 2/5

Dont buy this, you will be dissapointed, It has got rid of the double sided dvd,the qulity of the film is amazing but you can pretty much see every single stunt cable and every stunt mans face, I regret buying it.



Why not have a blu-ray review section on the site ? I know its a kinda SONY subject but still we enjoy the discussions.

Hitman is great on Blu Ray Bax. The Unrated version also has a digital copy of it, so you can play it on iTunes, or Windows Media Player. I slapped it on my iPod looks pretty good.
I picked up Pearl Harbor and Flyboys, and Cars, all look great on Blu Ray.
Superbad was funny, I couldn't tell much difference on Blu Ray over DVD.

Hitman isnt the best blu-ray ive seen, the colours are amazing but in some parts of the film when he is in offices and stuff it looks like shit, its all fuzzy and dull, I could only imagine how bad the dvd copy must look. As for Speed 100% buy it ! a great film and the sound quality on blu-ray offft its amazing, I love FOX blu-rays they are the best for sound they blow your ears out !

Think speed is still in that 3 for 2 deal at HMV if you were going to buy it.

Nor did I! I went to buy Euro 2008, saw that at the shop and bought it aswell. It's pretty cool, not sure whether its worth 60 quid though... Especially seeing you can only plug one gun in unless you buy a USB hub, far too complicated for me.
