Anyone notice the ads for The Sarah Conner Files in these two games? I first noticed them on the last level of GRAW2, and then remembering how UbiSoft also makes Vegas, I pop in the disc to play a game on the Calypso Casino map to see them there as well.
Again another use of great marketing.....but does this reveal some sort of sign that a possible game may be in the works depending on the success of the series.......hmmmm
no its just online marketing there in splinter cell double agent as well
Yeah, they are all over Splinter Cell. I feel bad for the company's that paid a bunch of money to advertise movies that are coming out now, because nobody plays Splinter Cell Double Agent anymore.
crackdown billboards update a lot. ads for movies, energy drinks, cars. making money people. there are ads in the TSA bins you put your wallet in at the airport.... you think there arent going to be a few in some games?

prime gaming hours for me are Tues., Wed, Fri., and Sat. From 7pm until 2am on all of those nights works awesome.
In R6V I've seen adds for...
300 - Film
The Kingdom - Film
Assassins Creed - Game
The Terminator Series - TV
And probably more, but i can't remember
I don't mind them, infact i like it. It kinda just fits in, in R6V anyway..
There subtle and not out of place with the enviroment
There would be posters like that around Vegas...
Theres an Arcade Machine (not interactive) in Vegas with Splinter Cell on it. In game advertisement has been a long time coming and now they've slipped it in under our noses!!
With games looking better and and more realistic now some games have to have adds in
Take any game that has times square in it.
To make it look right it has to has the same adds on the buildings bcos if it didnt. it wouldnt look like times square.
Like with sports games..
We never hear people complaining about advertising in sports games bcos there are adds all over the place in sports
But as long as an add fits in with its inviroment i see no probs with them being in games
