Band Leader Question

Anyone know if once you start a band world tour if there's a way to change the band leader? I ask because I'm decent at drums, but much better at guitar so I'd rather breeze through it on my first play through.

If there is, it's well hidden. I've had the same problem and haven't found a remedy. I think once you start your band with a Band Leader, he can't change a damn thing.

I don't think so either. I can't even change the name of my dude. I started with the default it gave me with the intent of customizing later...now I'm stuck with "Bret". woohoo

Options > Manage Data > Character Data. Choose your character and you get the option to rename or delete the character.

You won't breeze through the whole thing by any means.

I did the math, and I finished the World Tour with 3000 stars. I five-starred almost everything, meaning you would have to play a total of 600 songs to get "Big In" every city. Now get busy!

I believe this is correct. The Band Leader must always be present when that band plays (meaning that profile must be logged in and someone must use that character).

It does not mean that you have to use it. If there are people logged in who are using local profiles instead of their own, they have access to your characters. So in TheGimper's case, if at least one person isn't on their own Xbox Live profile, that person can play drums as long as you're logged in too.
