Info on "The Real Deal" achievement

Just finished the game on normal without a single death
Actually it was not that hard.

To take away your fears, the achievement unlocks after the garage boss. You dont have to do the club level or the final boss.

I am wondering if you can die but instead of using the reload checkpoint you just start the whole level over.

I have once and for all proven Load Checkpoint to not work for this achievement. Took me about 1 1/2 hours to finish it on normal with only 4 deaths. Will get it tomorrow.

Maybe the achievement unlocks if u just turn off ur 360 if u die and then try it again

I am testing out the Replay Level theory and it does not work. :/ You have to do this legit :/

I did the game in one single run.

idk if this works i hope bc on the 4th lvl i h8 it bc i randomly die from i guess a sniper...but i paused it b4 it registered nd went to dashboard...it frustrates me, can som1 tell me if itll work or if i gotta start ovr

I died at the last level by some guy hiding so I went to my dashboard asap when i died and then I went back into the game and continued to beat the game. Unluckily, the achievement didn't unlock. So I guess you will have to restart.

curious, for the part where you need to escort the slave. If he dies, does this mean I have to start from square 1? After the slave dies, it says that I died. Its kinda Fukd up if its true

Well ive gone through and read this entire thread regarding this achievement, but im still alittle unsure of something..... Say i complete level 1,2 but Die on level 3.... do i have to restart level 3 using the select mission bit or do i have to restart the Whole game from Scratch ie level 1???

I just got the achievement. Had played it through to level for when the prisoner died (again) Tried it a couple ot times. If you die you can quit and jchoose mission select and complete the level you ir segment of level you need to.

I managed to get to the last level before I died in the garage. I quit the game, went to mission select and selected the garage level. Died a few times, but always quit and loaded the level again from mission select. After I finsished it and the club level, I got the achievement.

It works like this, if you beat a level without dieing, it counts the level. So if you beat the last 1/3 of the game, then beat the beginning 2/3rds, you unlock the achievement.

I can confirm that if you remember which levels you died on and replay them without dying from the level select the achievement will unlock. I died on one of the earlier missions and the last three levels. I replayed the brothel, garage and then the night club first then played the earlier mission soon as I finished the mission the achievement unlocked. JACKPOT !!! 110G

ok so if you die you can go back to the chapter you died on and replay it without dieing and it will register

There are 5 macro-levels (the ones that have achievements for beting them on hard). There are also 1-4 micro-levels that may be accessed from the level select menu. Beating each of those levels in any order without dying will get it for you. Once there's a load screen, you're done with that level and may choose another. Still, that fucking slave gets me killed all the time. Ahh, love that handicapped AI!

I beat this game today and this is NOT TRUE. I used Replay Level everytime I died in a level, and it unlocked at the end. I had to play the nightclub level though, but this is a hell of a lot easier than remembering what levels you died on. I also did it on normal if anyone was wondering.

once you die just redo the level that you died on and achievement will unlock

This is wrong. You only have to restart the level that you are at. Go to mission selcect and select the mission you want to play. Beat it without dieing and go on to the next one. If you should die press start and restart the mission.

yes when you die load back the level you died on and finish the level and you will get the achievement

This is partially true. You only have to complete a level without dying in order to do the next level. Every time I died in a gunfire, I restarted level. And continue to play the whole level again. However, when I managed to kill the Garage boss, I did *not* get the achievement. I *got* the achievement when I finished the club.

So, what I'm saying... Womi is right. But I believed that Womi managed to beat the Club level (perhaps in Hard?) without dying, thus... the achievement. There. No worry. Just take my word on this. ;o

replayed them 2 times but no achievement gained
