[Noisy Neighbour]

NOTES:

• For the conversationalist achievement, you cannot replay present day 'missions', so if you miss a piece of dialogue with Lucy you will have to start the game again.
• For the Eagle achievements, the score is specific to the game save, so getting 25 leaps of faith in one save and 25 in another will not unlock the achievement. All 50 must be done in the same game save file.
• When killing Robert de Sable, watch out for a glitch by the two acrhers that may cause you to fall into the floor. This is caused by having two controllers in at once. Just make sure you only have one controller connected or disconnect your second controller.

During the majority of cut scenes while your playing as Altair, you will sometimes see the screen glitch.

• Pressing any button will make the scene cut to another camera angle. These are the glitches.
• Constantly tapping any button during every cut scene will make sure you hit at least 85% of the glitches.

Defender of the People: Acre
20 Complete every free mission in Acre.

Just save every civilian in the poor, middle and rich districts of Acre

20 Complete every free mission in Jerusalem.

20 Go through every dialog with Lucy.

Whenever you finish a memory block, you will be asked to rest.

• Wait till the doctor has left the room
• Stand next to Lucy and press B when the prompt appears
• Continue to press B everytime the conversation finished
• When she says "arent you tired?" and "sorry cant talk, got work to do" then you may go and rest

Disciple of the Creed
30 Assassinate all your targets with a full DNA bar.

This achievement is rather glitchy and will often unlock when neither of the methods below are completed and often when one or the other has been done. So i advise doing both methods to be on the safe side.

Either:

• Climb all view points
• Save all citizens
• Gather all information (pickpocket, informant, evesdrop)
• And then assassinate the target

OR:

• Make sure that when you assassinate your target, all the white bars on the synchronization bar are filled and the DNA strand is spinning round them

Eagle's Will
20 Defeat 100 opponents without dying.

As it says you must defeat 100 opponents without dying. This needs to be done in one playthrough. Which means that if you switch off your xbox your counter will reset.

Tips:

• Spend the majority of your time blocking.
• ALways try and counter kill them as it is a lot easier.
• Run around the city killing every guard you see.

Eagle's Flight
20 Last 10 minutes in open conflict.

This one is a lot easier than it sounds.

• Attack a guard
• If there is more than one kil guards until only one remains
• Sit back holding block (Right trigger)

Eagle's Challenge
20 Defeat 25 guards in a single fight.

A single fight means that your synchronization bar must remain red throughout the entire fight.

Attack a guard and hold block. Keep backing away around the town and gather a group of guards, max i could get was 13. Then kill 12 of them keeping one alive.

Then gather another group and kill that twelve. I find it safer to gather a third group and then kill them all, makes sure you actually got 25 instead of 24.

• Always keep one guard alive
• Always keep synchronization bar at red

Eagle's Prey
20 Assassinate 100 guards.

You need to assassinate 100 guards. It doesnt matter whether they are attacking you or not, but as a general rule, most of the time they will block you if they are aware of your intentions.

• Press Up on the D-pad to equiptyour hidden blade, and press X while next to a guard to assassinate them

Blade in the Crowd
30 Kill one of your main targets like a true assassin.

This has to be done on one of the main 9 targets.

To kill like a true assassin the tagret must not be aware that they are about to die.

• Walk up to your target holding A in low profile to blend.
• When your next to your target, still holding A, hold X to assassinate your target

Eagle's Swiftness
20 Perform 100 Counter Kill in Fights.

You need to counter kill 100 opponents in fights. This doesnt need to be done in one go, but is specific to your game file.

• Wait for your opponent to step towards you to begin his attack
• Just before he hits you, press X and you will counter him and kill him
• Sometimes you wont kill him and just kick him away, this doesnt count towards the achievement.

Eagle's Dive
20 Perform 50 Combo Kills in Fights.

Combo kills are frustrating and take a lot of precision timing. Luckily you only need to get 50 of them this time.

• While fighting, press X to attack someone, the split second your sword makes contact with theirs, press X again to combo kill them.
• Constantly pressing X until you kill them doesnt count as a combo kill
• If your having trouble with pulling off a combo kill you can practice them in the courtyard in Masyaf

Eagle's Talon
15 Perform 50 stealth assassinations.

A stealth assassination is an assassination without alerting the guard to your presence

• This is best pulled off on guards on the rooftops and guarding doorways.
• Press Up on the D-pad to equipt your hidden blade, slowly walk up behind the guard and press X to stealth assassinate them.

Eagle's Dance
10 Perform 50 leap of faith.
A leap of faith is when you jump from a high point into a stack of hay below. You perform one of these in the attack on Masyaf.

• Hold Right trigger, A and forward to jump off into a stack of hay
• You can do leaps of faith mainly off view points, but there are a few other locations.
• Some locations require very little time to climb to the top again, meaning you can just repeat it off that point 50 times. A good example is in the west of Masyaf
  

The hands of a Thief
15 Pickpocket 200 throwing knives.

You may notice while walking around, some fat looking men wearing brown leather outfits with knives on their belt.

• Target onto them with the left trigger and hold B to pickpocket their knives.
• This is easiest done later on in the game when your max amount of knives is at 15.
• Just keep pickpocketing till youve stolen 200.

March of the Pious
5 Use Scholar blending 20 times.

Blend in and out of the same group of scholars 20 times.

• Walk up to a group of scholars (a group of 4 guys in white robes) press A to blend and A again to blend out. Just follow the group and repeat 20 times.

Eagle's Eye
15 Kill 75 guards by throwing knives.

You need to kill 75 guards with throwing knives.

• Stand far from the target
• Press left on the d-pad to select the throwing knives, Lock onto the target with the left trigger and press X
• If you run out of knives, steal some more

Enemy of the Poor
5 Grab and Throw 25 Harassers.

You will sometimes find a beggar run up to you and harass you for food, money etc.

• Hold the right trigger and press B to grab them. Then throw them away.
• Must be different people
• Sometimes youll find a crazy person attack you, grabbing them wont scare them and neither will it contribute to this achievement.

Gifted Escapist
5 Jump through 20 merchant stands.

Find a merchant stand and jump through the stand 20 times

• Press Right trigger,A and forward to jump through the stand

Keeper of the Black Cross
10 Find All Teutonic Flags in Acre.

Find all the teutonic flags in the middle district of Acre.

• 33 flags in the middle district

I don't understand that one. I can't lock on to them, so I neither can use the grab thing with RT. How is this done?

You don't have to lock on to people to grab them. Just face them, hold RT and press B to grab them.

I just beat the game last night and got that achievement. It requires you to do every side quest before each assassination. Every single memory strand was full for me with the exception of the assignation part when I went to kill each target. I completed some of the target assassinations while almost dead so that can't be it.

I did this after killing that dude that is supposed to go kill the 3 guys on the stage (memory block 4?). I had all these guards around me, and kept blocking for 10 minutes (pretty long...). After 11-12 minutes I didn't get it? Is this really okay?

Clarification for Eagles Challenage. After killing my first target Tamir, I tried to get this acheivement. I ran around just gathering guards. Sometimes when there are 2 guards left, and you kill one with a combo, the last guard will run away, does this reset the 25 guard counter? The sync bar stays red, as your description says it should be. But the white triange thing on the left goes white. I can still chase the running guard, hoping he gets other guards and continue fighting.

Also, when you kill off all the guards in an area, your sync bar still stays red, does this mean you are still 'in combat' and the counter has not reset?

Again, this is after killing a main target only, and before you go anonymous and heading into the bureau

hmm this is an interesting thought.

If someone could investigate whether you can get that achievement while the city is on full alert after a main target has been assassinated then that would be awesom.

I've been camping the exit from Poor to Middle Damascus for awhile while the town has been on full alert, and I just got the Eagle's Will, killing 100 opponents.

I think it must be while the guards see you and are actively trying to kill you.

Yeah, I've just finished the game. You have to have the DNA Strand full before each assassination. You can have a low Syncronization Bar (health bar) when killing each Templar (it would be expected to lose health on some of them with the amount of guards that surround them).

Basically, you have to do each side mission, including Saving Civillians, High Points and doing each Investigation (Mission). On some of the assassinations, you are only required to do 2/6 or 3/6 missions before returning to the Assassin's Bureau, but in order to get the achievement, all 6 of these missions must be completed.

In each DNA Strand there are 8 white bars and two blues. The white bars are for going to the Burea (I believe), doing the 6 missions and the assassination itself. The two blue bars are for the High Points and Saving Civillians.

Only the sixth memory block is different, where it has 9 white bars. You will find out why yourself.

And if you are worried about the Additional Memories block, don't be. These are the DNA Strands for the Flags, Templars killed and High Points reached. They will only turn blue once each set of Flags are found, all Templars are dead and every High Point reached.

If you realise you have missed something, you can go back and do them again. Once the blue bars (HP and SC) are full, you will not need to do these again.

Hope this clears things up.

You people are taking the DNA idea like it means the synchronization bar. It does not; take it more literally. Nor does it have to do with completing all missions, as there is no DNA associated with that task. Do this for me: Ensure that you are not being chased right now, make sure your synchronization bar is full, (full to YOUR max, not 20) stand still, and press (Y). Wait a few moments and press it again, then look at your synchronization bar. Notice that the actual strand of DNA has shrunk, and regenerates in a few seconds. Now get people to chase you. Notice that it shrinks again. Now kill or hurt a civilian. Notice that it shrinks again. These are the only ways I know of that it can go down.
Disciple of the Creed is the name for a reason, you have to follow the creed that you got reprimanded for at the beginning.

So in summation:
To get this achievement, kill each target without being chased beforehand and without killing citizens beforehand.
