Question about Flags in Masyaf *spoiler*

When i should leave masyaf, travel to the other city
i found 18 flags only and realize somewhere inside the castle is locked

can i get all 20 flags in this stage of the game
or i should get them later in the game(when the backyard of the castle is opened?)

You can only get those last two following your first assignment in Damascus.

Alright thats helpful to me too, I spent forever riding around on my horse thinking the last 2 were outside somewhere..

I my self have only been able to find 18 of the 20 flags. But, I gained access to the back court yard and found the 2 flags hidden there. So, somewhere in the city landscape there are still 2 I need to find. Are there any specific locations I should search? I have scoured the city numerous times and have had no luck.

Any help would be much appreciated!

There are a couple that might be likely "misses." When you did the original "leap of faith," there were some beams to cross to climb up and release the trap on the attackers. After you cross the first beam, go past the spot of the second beam, and there's a flag down a little. I missed it my first time through.

There's also a couple that are hidden in tall stands of grass/bushes, so that they're almost invisible. Look in little nooks and crannies beside buildings along the mountain walls inside the village. There's also one hidden inside a little canopy/balcony thing on the side of one of the taller buildings that's easy to miss.

one in jerusalem by the main assination in a corner next to the building where the main target is.

see how hard it is to describe it?

edit: then climb up the building next to where u killed him and there is a flag on the edge opposite of the side u killed him on

All of the Mastyf flag are in the city but you won't be able to get them all untill memory block 3. Once in memory block 3, a gate opens up in the back of the "safe house" and lets you get the final 2 flags in the garden.

I know labeling where all the templars are stationed will take a long time; however, someone with the strategy guide, if you could just quickly post how many templars are in each location (poor acre, rich acre, large kingdom map, etc.) it would help. (At least until a full scale, detailed description of their locations is posted.

I'm so glad I bought the strategy guide for this game. Unfortunately we can't post the maps from it on here, but I would recommend picking it up. The map is huge and is excellent. It has Templars AND flags marked. There's a 10% discount at Gamestop when you pick it up along with the game. I preordered the game and they let me grab the guide at 10% off. I have a feeling that without the map in there, it will be near impossible to effectively put this together in a forum thread.

Well one Templar I found by accident going to Demascus. When you go down the curved hill next to the high point....there is a Templar. Don't try Blending....he'll instantly know you...my mistake lol

It is pretty hard to make list to show the exact locations where flags because they are scattered all over the place. It would be hard to explain where all the flag are without the use of pictures. Nevermind. someone made a map

by the way does anyone know if the templars are fixed locations, cause I just fought one in the kingdom that just walshed in while I was fighting some guards..
if theire not, well we'll have to do it with Guessed locations then ^^

What I'm wondering is, firstly is this correct? and am I right in saying there behind the large gates somewhere after they're opened? I also don't suppose anyone knows where these two are at all? I badly want these flags before moving on you see, cheers.

They are in the garden, which is closed until after the first assassination. There are no flags outside of the gates. If you scroll up, you'll see the nice big map someone was generous enough to make, which show you all of the flag locations.

Thanks. I thought I had to restart the game in order to get access back to the gardens...because IIRC you start in it once you're done with Damas. Might be wrong aswell...was drunk back then.
