Trouble finding matches(ranked)

Do a lot of people play this game online ranked because it takes me like 30minutes to get in a game.

yea I just wanna get 20,000 points and then switch to CoD 4, im at 17,000 points so it is frustrating that I might never get it

I never can find a single game of ranked online. I sit there for fifteen minutes with no success. I can not get any multiplayer achievements since they are all on ranked matches (which is quite stupid).

Yeah I hate to say it but the community is pretty much dead online for this. I just got my general 2 weeks ago and I had been playing with the same exact people for a week and a half or so. We got on the same time every night and just did like 12 person matches every day. Got boring to do after a while.

So, recently, now that the hype of Call of Duty 4 has died down a little, is it easier to find a match? Because I'm thinking of picking this game up again to get the online achievements, and I was wondering how the online community is populated...

I never seem to have a problem finding a match, I can usually find a match within 5 mins.

That cant be right. I have been playing for a while now and its usually 5-10mins but sometime slightly longer.

There are still many people playing and its probably the hour of the day.
