Perseus Mandate Booster/Phone/Laptop Guide

Note- This is in order of which I got everything so that it’s easier for you to get it all, instead of separating the phones and boosters. I suggest either 1 of 2 things for this achievement. Do it while going for the no death achievement “Mastered Your FEAR” or while moving through the poonfest of extreme. You could even do it in both if you want because more health and reflex the better in both of those scenarios.

Also - This may have mild spoilers but nothing big. This is the only guide for boosters/phones/laptops out (that I know of, have looked all over the internets) and I can tell you from getting the achievements that this is “THE” list.

I've noticed in the guide that i say right after a lot, and that means, just after a point not literally to the right, ill say on or to the right for that.

Interval 1

Reflex 1 - First, easy, left of entering the drain pipe building “Duct 19”

Health 1 - After the 2 fleeing cowards, it’s past the armored truck, all the way back, left, behind the power box

Reflex 2 - In the huge room, with the giant pipes all over with water on the floor, tunnel in back wall under catwalk, easy to find inside.

Health 2 - Bottom of stairway in parking garage, behind 2 spindles…very obvious.

Interval 2

Phone 1 - After fighting night crawlers in 2 lobbies, go up stairs straight ahead.

Phone 2 - Right after 1, in computer room with sliding doors and glass.

Phone 3 - Right after a server room with 4 night crawlers in it.

Reflex 3 - Right of Delta hold up room, on cart or table.

Interval 2 - Disturbance

Phone 4 - Before elevators with a scary sequence. In left room closest to elevators.

Health 3 - After a save point, turn right into vent right again, once in.

Reflex 4 - Just a little after fighting night crawlers in open tube and pipe room, go to next room, left behind blue canisters/tanks.

Laptop 1 - Once at top level, in room with glass looking out at the tiers (must be done)
In room where you are ambushed and the whole room is a light red.

Interval 3 - Pacification

Reflex 5 - Inside of gate area in room with battling sides, before heavy power armor attack.

Interval 3 - Bio Research

Phone 5 - After HUGE ASS Heavy Power Armor battle, kill 2 guys, next room has it.

Laptop 2 - Straight across from going downstairs.
Phone 6 - In left of lab.

Phone 7 - Continue on, right after conversation between Nightcrawler commander and Morrison.

Health 4 - You’ll come to a vent up on the wall in a separate room in the “cool blue” area, go in take right and right again.

Laptop 3 - Once out of a duct, left on computers…can’t remember so it’s a bad description ill go back and look later, should be easy though.

Interval 3 - The Plaza Chase

Reflex 6 - Top of a short stairway.

Interval 4

Health 5 - In long corridor, go to first right door behind some boxes, when distorted vision sequence happens.

Health 6 - After taking point and seeing alma skip across, on the right, on floor.

Interval 5

Health 7 - Can be seen through window, must go to right of window and shoot left

Interval 5 - Basecamp

Laptop 4 - In glass window office, right in the beginning, downstairs.

Reflex 7 - Right after laptop 4, jump down into tunnel, under trains, in front of you.

Laptop 5 - Next to switch that must be thrown.

Laptop 6 - In room with auto cannon, a bit after moving train.

Laptop 7 - Correction (If you got all 4 black laptops don't worry) I had made it seem that there were 5 laptops, 4 black 1 normal, i was wrong just didn't remember right. there's only 4 black laptops next to the lightning arc and that's it.

Interval 6

Reflex 8 - You’ll fight through tunnels of nightcrawlers, you ‘ll come to one with a girder/catwalk above you, go to the right, climb ladder, jump across to it and walk to end.

Reflex 9 - After battle with 3 invisible crawlers, on top of building in middle, ladder on left.

Interval 7

Health 8 - beginning, kill 3 enemies, under rail and behind 3 white boxes.

Reflex 10 - By desk, with grenades on it, next to bloody table, after and before another instance of being grabbed through the floor. EASIEST TO MISS

Laptop 8 - Middle of room, after duct drop.

Laptop 9 - Straight ahead in a red flare room.

Interval 7 - Clone Production

Health 9 - Across a catwalk, first get to a hole grabber and turn right, end of catwalk.

Interval 8 - Vault

Reflex 11 - After killing a squad left into vent.

Health 10 - After fighting a squad and a power armor, next room on left, easy to spot.

Reflex 12 - From Health 10 area, go right, follow path, in corner also easy to spot.

FIN

I'd say sticky please but I don't think finding it will be a problem...

Dang, you own man, I would have done that myself if I wasn't busy with college stuff and COD4 which I just finished getting all the achievements on so now to FEAR Files. Don't suppose anyone knows where I can find all that stuff for the Extraction Point Campaign? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Butters I see you did the game so quick...would you suggest me to play this for the GSL..I know this is off-topic for this thread...but I'm going for MVP and if you did it so quick I'm considering spending a nice 24 hour session on a weekend dedicated to this game after I finish my 20 easy 1000's...

It's inside a big room with a box fence around it, you have to break the lock on the door to get in it.

I am in no way trying to be cocky or arrogant but this is in no way a easy 1000, it requires a lot of skill. If you consider yourself to be a good person at shooters just apply all your shooting knowledge and techniques to this game cuz you'll need them. The extreme cheeves in general are indeed extreme.

Butters, you take the words right out of my mouth. People need to respect difficulty in games more these days.

By the way scratch that help needed with Extraction point, there are only like 3 phones in the game and very easy to find, 4 if you count the one during the good-times with Holiday and Alma. The Booster list on the gamefaqs guides section (which is also just about everywhere you look too) does have them all since I just got the achievement getting them. I'll be putting that guide for Perseus to good use by tomorrow, thanks a lot Butters, if I can ever help you with anything feel free to drop me a line.

Oh yeah, one thing though, I'd like to know what the secret achievements are, I'm looking at the time stamp on yours and I'm guessing they're related to the Perseus Campaign is that right?

most of the secret achievements have to do with the story line to avoid spoilers in the Perseus campaign but i think there's a thread with these out already if you really want em

Dang I should have figured, if only I'd shot just a few more. Still thanks again Butters, you really are the Master of FEAR. Now all I'm worried about are the freakin Instant action maps on extreme, don't suppose he'd be willing to help do walkthrough's for those. I can tell with the first one you really have to know where all of the enemies spawn, I almost had it but then I got run over by a train, and it's late so I'm goin to bed.

I'm currently working on a overall guide for all the cheeves and a IA guide but I've been very busy with school, exams, tests, essays, group projects n stuff. Once I have time I'll finish them up.

Holy ****. Butters , you're cool. Would you say the achievements are better than the orginal FEAR's?

Oh And BTW, what's multiplayer like on it?

Multiplayer is exactly the same besides a few new weapons/gametypes/and maps. the achievements are very similar too but will require 3 play throughs at least as opposed to fear where it took like 5 playthroughs to get all the cheeves.

Still trying for the mastered your FEAR on Perseus Mandate.

Got killed last fight in game with the head Nightcrawler.....

If you die. And restart just the mission will that count? I'm guessing NO.

I always get fried when I throw a grenade at rockets.....I'll never learn

Any deaths require a restart of the campaign, I assume haven't had to but that's the way it was in F.E.A.R.

You must start the game over if you die. No you can't turn off your xbox if it happens and reload the save. If you die, you have to restart over

A little correction, man. This laptop isn't in interval 3, it's at the end of interval 2. It's not a problem, because you have to use it to progress in the game, but it may be confusing.

Of course, i want to tell you that you have done an awesome work with this guide. It helped me a lot. Thanks man.

Yeah... FEAR has always been a challenge, that's exactly why I like the series. The only achievements I have problems with are the ones that require completion of the instant action maps on extreme, F***.

Ok I don't know if I'm blind or what but I couldn't find this one anywhere. Each time I got grabbed through the floor I looked around for it but couldn't find it anywhere.

EDIT: Nevermind I found it. BTW there is no Interval 8. The last three boosters are found in Interval 7 - Showdown.

I am pretty happy that I got all of the boosters. They can be a burden if you don't have a guide like this.

No you just have to restart the mission you were doing as a few of my m8's and my son have done the achievment.
