Help Need Advice

Just recently purchased this game and I wanted to know if the people that just hop in your game and give you ridiculously modded weapons then leave will it effect your game. Like corrupt your save or have glitched achievements or anything to mess up your game. I accepted one but don't wanna use it unless I know it won't effect my game.

No they don't.
I got all kinds of modded weapons for months and nothing happend.
I boosted with over 70 people from all over the world with those weapons,
and nothing happend. (look me up on TA.com)

You can put all weapons (guns & Co.) in your storage box, dupe them whatever...
But you can't put swords and knifes in the box, there will be a message appearing that there is no free slot.

I accuired a nice collection of those modded weapons over the last months,
Close to 130 modded weapons now, 5 perma-equipped and the rest in the box.
