Foot Fetish medal?

Hey, I'm trying to confirm something regarding this medal. Before anybody asks, yes I'm a completionist.

Anyway, as you can see here, to get it you must "Snipe someone in the foot".

Now, this medal, along with There Is No Spoon and Marathon Man, is apparently glitched and unobtainable. However, I have heard that some people have it, and a comment from that site's admin states that it is only unobtainable in certain game modes.

Now, I'm pretty sure I've shot enough feet off with the DSG-1 in Team Instant Action to no avail, and I plan on trying the other modes when I feel like throwing my K/D in the toilet again...I'm just wondering if anybody here can confirm or deny this information; does anybody here have it? If so, do you remember how you got it?
