When can I return to Numara?

After being removed from the city by soldiers at the start of disc 2, I was unable to complete a couple of side-quests. According to multiple guides on gamefaqs and truachievements they claim that it's not really missable just can get them done early on.

Can anyone help me out here? I played the game quite awhile ago so my memory is quite foggy... One includes the Crystal fragments and the other a music piece, if that helps.

If it helps any this is the name of the sidequest I am referring to.

Side Quest: Crystals From the Crimson Forest

I'm not 100% certain if you can go back to Numara on disc 2 or 3 but you'll have the chance to on disc 4 regardless. Those side quests will still be active and you can complete them etc.

Alright nvm I am at the end of the game now and was able to go back phew and still do this sidequest!
