Is there/will there be a plus save option?

To take a already completed/started character into a new game save to get a uber strong character to play through, if you played blue dragon the enemies went up to the same rank too, but i started this game on normal, got like 30 hours through before finding out about the hard cheevy, and want to use a god character to play through again

Thus far, there isn't, but I would recommend starting again with a new character on hard. It's really not that difficult to be honest. Somebody else posted they beat the entire story on Hard in 8 1/2 hours.

Hard mode is no challenge at all, you'll have no problem with it

Stock up on Health/Mana potions and Regen potions and save often.

hmm well in that case il use my current game to just get all the cheevys, then go back afterwards and get the hard one and just grind up like mad. thanks <3

so just to be clear, I can't play through on easy, then start a hard game with the same character with all items, stats, gold, etc...?

Nope! You have to start over again.

Side question: To get the "complete the game on Hard" achievement, do you have to start at Hard? Or can you change in the middle and still get the achievement?

You have to start on Hard, and leave it on Hard for the entire game.
