Achievement Guide

[avengerRPM]

Winning Streak - 30
Win 3 race events back to back in either Arcade or Single Player Career Mode.
Play through Arcade or Single player, and win three races in a row. Difficulty does not matter.

1-2 Finish - 10
Complete a Ranked Match Team Championship with your team taking the top two positions.
Online, win a Ranked Team Championship, with two members of your team taking the top two spots. Probably easiest with fewer players.

Team Domination - 20
Complete a Ranked Match Team Championship with your team taking up the top four positions.
See "1-2 Finish"

Team Leader - 10
Earn the most points for your team in a Ranked Match Team Championship.
For the Championship, be the best overall racer for your team. Perform lots of Kudos.

Showboater - 20
Earn 9000 Kudos in a single race.
Pick a car that slides well and take it the the Michelin Figure-8 Track. Do continuous slides until you have this. You will probably receive this if you are trying for the "Superstar" Achievement.

5-Star Racer - 20
Earn 5 Kudos Stars.
This only is achieved by gaining 5 Kudos Stars in a single Combo. You will get it if you try to get the "Superstar" Achievement.

Superstar - 40
Earn 5 Kudos Stars three times in a race.
For this achievement, and for "5-Star Racer" and "Showboater", take a car with high power and good drifting (ex- DBR9) and do continuous drifts around the Michelin Figure-8 Track. Be sure to end your combo once you have gotten it up to 5 stars, because you cannot get more than 5 stars at once.

Mind Your Manners - 25
Win a Street Race in Arcade or Gotham Career mode without making contact with walls.
Easiest on the first career race. Just get out in front, and stay in the middle of track.

The Unicyclist - 20
Perform a long Wheelie on a motorcycle.
See "Endo King"

Bibendum - 10
Play all 3 Test Track disciplines and set a score in each one.
From the "Gotham Career" Main Menu, select the option "Michelin Test Track". From here you have the options: Skid Pan, Speed and Time Trial. You will have to complete 2 mminutes of the Skid Pan, and a lap of the other 2 disciplines. (Courtesy of Maka)

Weather Master - 25
Win races in rain, fog, and snow in either Arcade or Single Player Career modes.
Will come with time while playing through Career or Arcade.

Winner - 5
Win your first event in either Arcade or Single Player Career modes.
Will most likely get on the first race you complete, as long as you win. Simple as that.

Silver Gotham Arcader - 40
Earn a Silver medal in every Arcade event.
See "Platinum Gotham Arcader"

Gold Gotham Arcader - 10
Earn a Gold medal in every Arcade event.
See "Platinum Gotham Arcader"

Platinum Gotham Arcader - 10
Earn a Platinum medal in every Arcade event.
The bike or car you use may need to depend upon the event. A car with better handling and acceleration/top speed may be better for racing, where as a car with better drifting may be better for kudos challenges. Will take time, but is possible. Just keep retrying, and dont be afraid to change vehicles, or switch from car to bike, or vice-versa.

Silver Double - 30
Earn at least a Silver medal with both a bike and a car in any Arcade event.
See "Platinum Double"

Gold Double - 5
Earn at least a Gold medal with both a bike and a car in any Arcade event.
See "Platinum Double"

Platinum Double - 5
Earn at least a Platinum medal with both a bike and a car in any Arcade event.
Find a race that you feel comfortable with on both a bike and a car, and then obtain a Platinum Medal with both the bike and the car.

Arcade Chapter Complete - 30
Complete any chapter in Arcade mode.
Just complete any set of 6 races in Arcade Mode. Difficulty Medal does not matter, but the chapter must be completed with all the same kind of vehicle.

Professional - 70
Reach the rank of Professional in Single Player Career mode.
See "Numero Uno"

Hotshot - 70
Reach the rank of Hotshot in Single Player Career mode.
See "Numero Uno"

Master - 40
Reach the rank of Master in Single Player Career mode.
See "Numero Uno"

Hero - 20
Become a National Champion in Single Player Career mode.
Become the highest seeded player in your respective country. (Courtesy of Maka)

Champion - 10
Win your first Championship in either Single Player Career or Ranked Match play.
See "Numero Uno"

Motorcycle Ace - 25
Win a Single Player Career Championship on a motorcycle.
Complete a championship with a motorcycle. Try to find a race with shorter courses, and lots of turns. Choose a motorcycle with really high acceleration.

Major Winner - 40
Win a Major in Single Player Career mode.
See "Numero Uno"

Dominator - 20
Win all three Single Player Career Majors.
Win the Asian, North American and European Majors. Difficulty does not matter, so change it to Easy as a safety net. (courtesy of Maka)

Stuntman - 5
Perform your first stunt on a bike.
This achievement requires that you hold the B button while either doing either an endo, a wheelie, or a drift, while on a motorcycle.

Buy an Achievement - 20
Buy the K1,000,000 gamer picture to earn this Achievement.
Kudos will come eventually, so dont save up all your Kudos, unless you really want to. But once you have 1,000,000 Kudos, and you can select to buy it in the PGR Shop, go ahead. Get it.

Back it Up! - 10
In a split-screen Street Race, finish 1st and 2nd in reverse gear against at least one AI opponent.
In a multiplayer race, both players need to cross the finish line in reverse. Set up the race with only 1 AI, and once the race starts, both players need to stay together because the second player only has 15 seconds to cross the line once the first player crosses. Once you can see the line put on your brakes and stop, turn around, and back up across the line.

Strike a Pose - 10
Get two bikes facing each other, 15 metres apart, with each performing an impressive endo.
Can be done online, or split screen. Play with a friend and endo towards each other. Keep trying it and you will get it.

First Timer - 10
Complete your first Ranked Match Championship.
Self-explanitory, just begin an online ranked championship, and race all races until completion.

8th Wonder of the World - 20
Complete a lap of the Michelin Test Track 'figure of 8' while sliding.
Go to the Michelin Test Track, and perform a Kudos Combo around the entire Figure-8 track. Does not need to be a continuous slide, only a continuous combo.

Catch 'Em All - 5
Swap paint with every opponent in an eight vehicle race.
Best time to do this one would be on an 8-vehicle Eliminator. You have to get to the front anyways, so you might as well hit them all. Any kind of contact counts, even a light tap to their rear fender.

Endo King - 20
Earn 100 Kudos by performing an Endo with a motorcycle.
Use the A-Class Kawasaki Ninja, and go to New York and do endos after crossing the entire bridge, just before the corners. Make sure you keep the bike up, and dont even hesitate or slightly drop the bike, as my achievement only came after a perfectly held endo.

Seat of your Pants - 25
Complete a Hot Lap event in Arcade mode without touching your brake.
No Hot Laps are unlocked initially, so once you have unlocked one, go ahead. You just have to complete the lap in under the given time, on any difficulty, with both a bike and car. Wallriding is ok, which is the easy way to do it with a car. For the bike, either try to ride the wall, or just crash in every corner.

Rubbin' is Racin' - 20
Knock off the wing mirrors on all of your opponents' vehicles in a Single Player Street Race event.
Try this with a single opponent, and knock off both wing mirrors.

Show Jump - 10
Get eight vehicles in the air at the same time.
In a custom match go to st. petersberg, the hermatige race REVERSE. set all the ai vehicles the same as yours. i used a hyabusa because i thought the bikes would be lighter and faster. just stay with the pack on the straightaway and there will be a small hill. Jump it.(thanks to bookemdano76)


I Love PGR - 5
Buy everything in the PGR Shop or complete PGR 3 and get to Rank #1
This achievement is very misleading. For one, having beaten PGR3 does nothing for the achievement, as Microsoft ruled that no achievement can be based upon another game. This achievement is also misleading in the fact that you do NOT have to have purchases everything from the PGR4 Store. It seems that most people earn this achievement when they reach Rank 1 on the Career Leaderboard.

Whitewash - 50
Win every event in a Single Player or Ranked Match Championship.
See "Numero Uno"

You Won't Believe Your Eyes! - 5
Create a 3D image using Photo Mode.
You have to purchase the ability to take 3-D pictures. It costs just over 80,000 Kudos. (Courtesy of Maka)

Secret Agent - 5
Puzzle #2
Go to Custom Race, And take the Aston Martin DBS to Las Vegas on the Long Strip Straights Track. Go backwards at the start until you can see Casino Royale to the right. Come to a complete stop and the achievement is yours (thanks to Twin Axes).

Puzzle #1
Start a custom race, with the DeLorean, and with a Storm going. Be going 88mph when lightning strikes, and you have the achievement.

Tonight Make Me Unstoppable - 5
Puzzle #3
Complete a race while Bloc Party's "The Prayer" is playing. You can go to music and make it so that it is the only song playing. You need to finish in second.

Play It Again Sam - 20
Improve on a medal earned in any arcade event
Win a race on Bronze difficulty, and then beat it again on a harder level.

PGR On Demand - Photo - 5
Upload a photo and vote on a photo in PGR On Demand
Take a photo and upload it, then go to PGR On Demand, view one, and vote for it.

PGR On Demand - Video - 5
Upload a replay and vote on a replay using PGR On Demand
Save a video and upload it, then go to PGR On Demand, view one, and vote for it.

Giant Killer - 20
Win against a human opponent with Rank 1 single player status on Xbox LIVE.
Beat someone on Xbox Live who has "Numero Uno". Does not need to be ranked.

Numero Uno - 50
Reach Rank Number One on the Single Player Career Drivers' Leaderboard.
Progress through the Career Mode, completing the championships that give the most points. Difficulty does not matter.

Beat Bizarre - 10
Defeat a PGR 4 team member on Xbox LIVE, or defeat anyone who's bested a PGR 4 team member.
Find a friend, or a friend of a friend, or someone on here, who has the achievement, and beat them. Does not have to be ranked

Tourist Kudos King - 15
Earn more kudos than anyone else in a Tourist event
Create a player match and invite one friend. Set the time for the least amount and let the other guy get some kudos while you sit there, let the round end. They get the achievement. Start it up again and the other guy should just sit there while you get kudos. Then when the round ends, you get the achievement.

Open Cat Champion - 15
Be a cat on the winning team in a Cat and Mouse Open Event
READ CAREFULLY: It has to be an OPEN event, where you have any and all roads to drive on. Double check your races!
For this one, boosting with a group of 4 people is the best way to get this and Open Mouse Master. Get into the two teams and decide which team will win the first two events. Let that team win those two, with them switching roles (cat/mouse) in between. Repeat with second team winning two in a row.

Open Mouse Master - 15
Be a mouse on the winning team in a Cat and Mouse Open Event
See "Open Cat Champion"

Platinum Plus - 60
Get all the platinums in the Platinum Plus Challenge
There are six events, complete them all. Good Luck. I will post up any helpful tips if I find any.

Download King - 60
Complete the DLC Challenge chapter (at various difficulties)
As simple as medaling in every event. Does not matter which difficulty you are on, and also, there is no choosing of vehicles, so no worrying about doing it with both a bike and car.

Arcade Challenge - 50
Complete the Arcade Challenge chapter (at various difficulties)
See "Download King"

Cheater - 5
Activate one of the cheats in the cheat menu
You need to START a race with a cheat activated. Turn on a cheat and start a custom race, that simple.

Make the Grade - 10
Try to qualify for a tournament
You only need to complete a lap in a tournament qualification race. You do not need to actually qualify.

Track: The Hermitage Race route
Reverse needs to be turned on.
The Achievement unlocks after landing the first jump ( May need to be on second lap to get enough speed). (Thanks to THE REAL WILL)

Puzzle #5
Track = Hermitage Race in St. Petersburg.
Reverse = on.
Bike = Ducati 998.
Go over the First jump and while your in the air do a 360 with the camera and this will unlock the achievement. (Thanks to THE REAL WILL)

ok , heres the deal .(showboater , 5 star , superstar , mind your manners , winner , stuntman , unstoppable , play it again sam ) go to arcade , catch me if you can event 4 ( one on one ) set to steel . use the beull motorcycle . this track has plenty of straight aways to do wheelies . while doing them press B to do tricks . do this till you get to 500 feet , then let off the wheelie and do it again and again . this will max you out and get you the stars you need . i maxed out my kudos to 10000 points before the last lap ended ( 2 lap track ) . then replay one more time , on bronze to get the play it again sam .hope this helps . takes about 10 mins if that . 140 points.

Great guide, very useful!!

The thing is I am having problems with some of them:

Endo King - 20
Earn 100 Kudos by performing an Endo with a motorcycle.
Go to the Michelin Test Track and take a bike onto the Oval. Get to top speed and near the end of a straight slam on the brakes and lean forward by pushing up on the LS. Be sure not to let the bike fall over forward, and dont try and turn, you will fall off.

I really don't get it! When I take the Buell motorcycle to the Test Track and I get it to about 212 km/h (doesn't go higher), and then Endo like 110m or so, I don't get the achievement! What am I doing wrong?

And about the Stuntman Achievement:
Stuntman - 5
Perform your first stunt on a bike.
Can be easily completed on the Skid Pan Test Track, once that has been unlocked.

As you can see, I already made some stunts, like wheelies and stuff, but I didn't get it yet?

i did it with silver A.I on new york bridges 2 laps as i crossed the the line the word unstoppable was being sung i think, not sure though!

One easy way to get the 5 star and 3 5 stars in one race, is to get on the michelin track along with the "8th wonder of the world" and "showboater" achievement.

Go to options then Music and toggle all the playlists so that they are off apart from Alt Rock. Then press a on Alt Rock and toggle ll songs off apart from Bloc Party - The Prayer. Then have a race and finish in 2nd. Bloc Party should be playing if you have done it correctly.

Puzzle #1 and #2 can be done in a Custom race, but number 3 has to be done in a career or arcade match. (just set the music to bloc party's Prayer song only and come in second. The point of the song or line being sung doesn't matter.)

Ok, well I am pretty sure that Puzzle #3 does NOT have to be done in Career or Arcade, because i recieved it after setting up a Custom Race with only 1 AI.

I have been looking over other forums and all over Google, and I have not found a single, solid way to accomlish it yet.

I am still looking, and hopefully will stumble upon something soon.

I did all 3 puzzles in a custom race as prescribed by the guide so I know for a fact they can be done.

As for the I Love PGR - it unlocked for me when I reached #1 in career today.
