How do you get a second playthrough

I was wondering I beat epic mickey 2 and am missing some pins can anyone tell me how do I start a second playthrough and keep the collectibles that I have earned through my first playthrough so I can get all 176 pins?

Nope. Tells you when you try to start a new game that it deletes everything. Lame. Hoping to finally get this done on my 7th.

7th playthrough? I would have give up missing it once.
