Crazy XP Events Life in GoW2?

I remember in Gears of War 2 they would have crazy bonus XP events (20 x XP etc.) after the game had been out for a while. Think they will do this with GoW3?

Seems like it is still going on. I just played this game for the first time since late September when the 3x XP was going on and was ranking up pretty fast in Horde.

I think it's constant double XP all the time. Maybe constant triple XP I don't know.
