Swan Dive locations with pictures.

NOTE: In one adventure, swan dive off the three highest points over water in the game.

-Press --> in quick succession to perform a swan dive. Can be done on land or into water.

Swan Diver I -10
-#1 Mediterranean Sea - After pulling the lever to raise the spiked platform above the kraken, wall jump up the gap where the chains were that you shot. From this ledge above the switch (don't forget the treasure), swan dive into the water where the kraken was.

Swan Diver II -10
-#2 Mediterranean Sea, On Natla's Cargo Ship - Jump from the cargo containers to the next level of the ship. Go left and look for the white container in the corner labeled "LIFE JACKETS". Jump from there.

Master Swan Diver -10
#3- At the beginning of Coastal Thailand, climb to the very top of the cliff. Before you continue down the lush path away from the coast, turn around and jump from the corner of the edge that you can grab.

If you had some problems unlocking "Master Swan Dive", read on.
-I started from the beginning and blew through the game to Thailand, but didn't do all the dives.
I made all three jumps in the same play through and then it finally unlocked for me.
Here's the order I got mine:
1st jump above kraken - Swan Dive I unlocked
Missed the boat jump.
2nd jump from Thailand cliff - Swan Dive II unlocked
-Started new game.
Jumped from kraken again - nothing
Jumped from boat - nothing
Jumped from cliff again - Master Swan Dive unlocked (took about 45 mins to breeze through to it)

I will be going back and starting fresh (on easiest difficulty) for the rewards, rather than use the treasure hunter mode. I know I'll have to spend some time doing those puzzles again but I enjoy the Tomb Raider games. I can get through Legend and Anniversary so quick now and hope to do the same with Underworld.

Starting a new save and then just sticking to that progress, I'll try to ensure I get those swan dive achievements. Just wish they had saves that record progress for achievements - that way it doesn't all have to be on one save. Better yet - do it like Gears of War 2's progression.

Actually, come to think of it - these locations are early on. Not too bad.

You do NOT have to start a new game if you missed the dives. You can even do it on the same save file if you have your auto-save from "The Norse Connection." Unless you're really strapped for space on your harddrive, you should have "The Norse Connection" on save file number 3 or 4 (I forget which) and you should be able to crank these out in about 15-30 minutes max without needing to start from the beginning. Please read my post in the other swan dive topic.

This works for the kraken but Swandiver II didn`t unlock for me when I loaded the save und jumped off the boat...

This is what I wrote in the other topic. Just do this and you'll unlock your achievements.

Okay, this is how you unlock swan dives if you've already missed one. I've personally confirmed that this works.

What you need to do is load the auto-save called "The Norse Connection," regardless of where you are in the game (don't use the Treasure Hunt mode - make sure to load the auto-save). Go through the levels, making sure you go through all three swan dives, whether or not you already have the achievement for it, and whether or not you got the first two achievements on a different swan dive location.

Basically, load up Norse Connection. Go to the top of the Kraken's room, dive from there. The diving point is right in front of you as you walk out of a doorway and trigger a short cutscene, on a slightly lower ledge. Then, make your way out of the temple and onto Amanda's boat.

Dive from the life-jacket box on the second deck, after you jump from the large colored crates. Jump back onto Amanda's boat and finish the level. When you start Thailand, climb to the top of the cliffs. The diving point is before the jungle.

You'll see the large vertical cliff in front of you and below that has a treasure you can collect. That is NOT the diving location, at least not as far as I can tell. You have to do the swan dive from the ledge that you climb up to get to where you are now. So, if you're facing the water, the vertical cliff with the treasure is on your right, the four ledges that you recently climbed are below and to the left. Swan dive from here and BLOOP... ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED! Woot.

Now, just load up your last save, and continue with your adventure. You do not have to delete your save files or start a new game. Just to be sure, do all three dives in one sitting; it doesn't take too long - maybe 15-30 minutes max, depending on whether or not you know the diving locations.

You have to do it continuously. That means you can't jump around with saves, and I think that's why you're not getting the achievement. In other words, the game won't "remember" whether you did one jump or another, and the achievement description is a little bit unclear about that.

Perhaps your not doing it fast enough. Tried it a few times and Swandiver II didn't unlock. When I pressed B almost immediately after I jumped it unlocked.

I started a new game on easy after beating hard first, that sounds worse than what it is . Getting all the diamonds and relics. Anyway, using this I finally found the last one, looking back this is all you need, but it's one of those hindsight situations. Thanks for posting this.

hi,
i have a problem to get the swan dive I, after the kraken. i'm in the little room above the switch and jump into the water where the kraken was, my problem is that the achievement not pop up! I tried it 50 times on different positions on the ledge but nothing works.

Can someone post a pic with an x on the correct jump point, pls?

Or had it something to do that i have done the Thailand Swan Dive at first?

Thanks so much for these. I finished Underworld just a few seconds ago and now to go back through for all the relics, treasures and achievements. Funnily enough I was able to get the Speed Demon achievements without even knowing they existed.

a true (stupid) story happens to my for a few seconds!

my first swan dive was Thailand
My second swan dive was Amandas ship (2nd playthrough)

that's why i tried to get the kraken room spot about 100 times, nothing happens!

because of that i played on, back in thailand (a 2nd time/ playthrough) i make a 2nd time the swan dive! AND WHAT HAPPENED I GET THE MASTER SWAN DIVE ACH.

Where is the logic, when i jumped 2 time of the same spot and get 2 achievements???

Really, really stupid but finally i get it!

Swan Dive III will not unlock for me. I've probably jumped from there 10 times or so. I'm sure i'm right on the X in the picture, and then pressing B right after jumping. She swan dives down, but it won't unlock

So if I do the Kraken Dive first, let the game save etc, then turn off the 360 for bedtime, when I continue on in the morning, the game's forgotten I've done it and I have to do all 3 in one 360 'on' period?

Crazy if that's true.

EDIT: Nope, doesn't have to be done in one sitting, can resume a save and do the next one. Hope that clears it all up, just in case I wasn't the only one wondering

Same Here... I've jumped for 10 times or more, and the achiev does not unlock. I got the first 2 with no problem, but the third jump just don't trigger the achievement...

I did swan dive 1 no problems. I try and do number 2 and it doesnt want to unlock for some reason.

I looked at a video guide of how to do it, I did the exact same thing but the piece of shit isnt unlocking.

So I decided to load the save from the previous part in thew cave then got back to the boat part, tried again and nothing happened.

People have said you can only unlock the second one after doing the first one in THE SAME GAME. Well Im in the same game in which I unlocked the first one.

This is stupid I am going to start again.

I have almost completed the game and I only did the third swan dive, missing the first two, so if I go into treasure hunter mode and go dive off the first two will it unlock all the achievements?

This works, I just did it, I was missing the Master Swan Diver achievement (3rd one off the top of the ledge)

Just loaded up the Norse save as mentioned and ran the levels and did the jumps, after doing the 3rd jump I got the achievement I needed.

Now just need to go through the game on Hardest setting to get the last 100GP achievement.
