Nice to know but I won't be getting it, since I spent too much on another car game years and barely used them. I just don't play or like the game that much. It's good for a change away for shooters but that's all.

I'm guessing you are basing that off of the one GameStop screen someone posted awhile ago?
If that's the case I wouldn't be surprised if it was lower. The GS screen was most likely just a placeholder price.

I want it to have no achievements so there is zero motivation to get it. I do not want any encouragement to extend my time in this poor excuse for a game.

What is great about it?
I was and still am a massive fan of Most Wanted and Burnout Paradise. The MW aspects brought into MW2012 suck. You have 10 plain production cars you race and then take down. They have no character driving them and they are boring. And you unlock the ability to take part in them way, way too easy. The Burnout Paradise elements are simply that...elements. They are chores to do in the game and the game does not gel anywhere near as much as BP did. I can see what they tried to do with online. It is like a merger of the BP co-op challenges with versus stuff added in. In the end its shite and has nothing of the fun factor that BP had online. The graphics are distracting and the game just lacks character and just seems like a lot of mundane tasks tacked on to each other. You race the same races in different cars to get the sme mods. A serious question - what is there to like? |

OK I am officially boycotting this dlc. As a semi completionist when it comes to racing games that grinds my gears a little but I aint playing a game I loathe online with Ultimate Fan as mu license plate.

It's a meager offering for $10... but I really enjoy the game, so I'll be getting this pack and the rest, probably!

I've found there are 13 unique races and 1 Most Wanted race. Each car has its own Speed Run which is annoying. I've done them all except 4 Speed Runs.
It looks like for "coming first in every race" achievement its just those 14. In Driver Details, there's an extra menu for Ultimate Speed Pack which has your stats. |

In order to get one of the license plates, you need to "Jump at least 6 cars in a McLaren F1 LM at Hodges Airfield" ... does this really mean 6 live people, at once? If so, that's really damn stupid. I don't see any spot with static cars parked or anything.

Yes Radiant, I think it needs to be done with 6 people.
The Unstoppable achievement didn't unlock when I got 14/14 events won, so I think you have to finish every unique race and the ones that are repeated. |

I haven't 100% this pack yet, but after playing with it for a few hours, it's fun, but expensive. So far, I have recognized a bunch of "new" races in SP that are just races in MP. For example, "Around the World", which is a blast to play. The new cars are interesting too, the McLaren F1 has a nice amount of downforce which the Bugatti lacks, and you can look like the Batman, driving around in your Pagani Zonda R! I have yet to play any new multiplayer speedlists. |

OK, so I'm playing a little bit of the MP right now... you need to complete Speedlist events in exotic vehicles first in order to unlock the DLC cars. The Ford GT is considered exotic and is the lowest level car. Here's a quick tip for unlocking the DLC cars in MP quickly.
Create a speedlist that is only 1 event. Wing Walker challenge. It requires that everyone parks on the top of the plane in the airfield. It also sets up everyone for requiring a driver to jump over 6 players! |
