Brigade Box HQ Counterattack Glitch?

I found something odd...

After you prepare for the german counterattack,
i tried the "wait in the cellar behind the 3 barrels" method,
but it didn't work well, did while reloading and the grenades go off to late.
I tried then to wait at the top of the stairs let them come but there was always a german behind, which the british NPCs refused shoot, so he killed me always. *grrr*

But then i found something odd...

I stayed in the cellar behind the barrels, shooting some germans,
and then i was going back to get some ammo and i stood there behind some crates and now enemy was coming.
The whole countdown i was staying behind the crates
and only piece dropped by to look through a window and left,
and returned after a few seconds.
No enemy was even near the cellar.
i just stood there and let the counter run from 3:00 to 0:00 and then i was going on the Tigerhunt, on the right path throwing smokes.

The place i mean is: if you stay behind the 3 barrels facing to the cellar entrance where the germans are supposed to come in,
The crates southeast from you (not the compass SE!) stay behind the crates.

So I'm sat doing this now with my controller on the desk. Can't believe nobody else has commented. Good find!

Just hit the checkpoint for the Tiger Tank with no fuss. Gets a bit trickier after that, but it got me further than I could be bothered to do.

Good to know this works! Wish I had known about it when I was doing this mission. I just ran around for the first two minutes and then camped out in the cellar by the door for the rest of the time. I died several times, but it wasn't too hard overall.
