How long did you say a season was?!

I was playing a co-op season with a friend of mine, and thanks to some inspiring teamwork we won the constructors champ at a canter, and I won the drivers champ by 1 point.

After I returned to the main screen, it said we had to race Belgium again, apparently. I ended up racing at Melbourne with cars 13-24, whilst my partner was at Monza with cars 1-12! The races both blurred over each other at certain points, and I saw cars flying across my track on what was evidently the racing line on theirs.

The races both finished, and points went towards the previous standings (fortunately I still won the championship. Only THEN did it congratulate us and confirm our double-victory. Here's a pic:
