Buy or Rent

I love the movies but the last good 007 game I played was on he N64. I was wondering if this game is worth buying, or if I should try and rent it (there are no places near my to rent so it would be a long drive).

rent or cheap cheap!! the moonraker mission was cool. And when i say cheap i mean around 15 buck or rent it. i enjoy any bond game shitty or not.

Depends how much of a Bond fan you are. I am a HUGE Bond fan, therefore, I am going to buy this game no matter how bad people are saying it is.

The way I see it is, if you have to ask "buy or rent"...rent it. Then you have nothing to lose.

Rent it, I did and it was good but I wont be buying it to finish of the achievements (as they're going to take a while for multiplayer) until it's cheap. Like another user said, I love Bond so I will buy it eventually but just not for full price I'm afraid.

Rent. I rather liked Goldeneye Reloaded and loved Quantum Of Solace but this one is pretty darn bad. Come Christmas, good luck getting some of the MP achievements.

I played through the story and I think it wasn't that bad. Nice Sniper Action!

Old thread but fuck it, drunk. This game so far is retarded. I enjoy a good Bond film, but this game butchers even the most basic of plot elements. Sure, let's digitally insert Daniel Craig into several of the most popular old films, that might be interesting. It could make it epic, even.

But no, the gameplay is all wrong. It takes on average twelve bullets to kill a guy, or even bring him to his knees. 007 may take a few liberties with reality, but the one constant is that it's mostly one shot one kill. Or three shots. Or even five. I know that a person in real life can be shot several times without dying, but every person in the world? Fuck 'em nao.

I paid $2.80 to rent this game from Redbox, for 38 hours. Either I missed something awesome, or the achievement guide/road map lied to me, or it just wasn't a good game. I would bet twenty Canadian dollars that it's the latter.

Again, old thread, won't be missed, but fuck man. Just fuck.
