Call of Dead Easter Egg - Final Step, Killing the human

Could anybody please let me know how they killed the human sacrifice when they rise up the green light. I have been at this step twice now and i'm getting sick of this EE! Is there a certain weapon you require?

First attempt we fired countless bullets of a Galil & HK21

Second attempt was countless bullets of a HK21, stuck him twice with the crossbow and also threw a frag grenade as soon as he came into the lighthouse!

This is doing my head in and its the last achievement i need

For solo I used a PaP Raygun. (I can't remember what it's called after you PaP it). In coop, my brother and I did it three times and no achievement popped so we gave up.

Managed to do it, could have sworn he went limp after one of those russian dolls but put a few scavenger bullets into him to be on the safe side

that's not the final step, you have to grab the golden rod, put it in the tube, and then knife the fuse. he goes limp fairly easy, 1 clip from an HK and RPD etc. aslong as you have one player about halfway up the lighthouse if you aren't good at following up the steps and shooting at the same time.

Also try to have 2 zombies (1 a crawler) when doing that step so it doesn't start the next wave on you.

Scavenger is what you need and a ray gun would also be good too. Blast him with whatever you got with the scavenger and it should do the job. I already got this and just told my group to spam whatever they have.

Scavenger non-upgraded will kill him in 1 or 2. As soon as he dies he'll go limp / lie backwards. The body will continue to rise to the top and once it gts there the golden rod will descend.
We were lucky that I had the scavenger and ray gun. My bro had the HKS and the Matroyska dolls so we just let loose to ensure his death.

I completed this Easter egg on round 7, so I'm not sure if it takes more on the later rounds. Generally we've done this Easter egg several times without going higher than round 9
