Can online be self boosted?

just as the title states can you self boost the online achievements using the gears/shadowrun method on the PC? i just bought this game for $5 because i remember enjoying the xbox version and i know for a fact online will be dead.

Since no one answered me i tried to find out myself, everything works until my 3 bots connect to the game after the matchmaking step is completed. i always get disconnected from server. does any one know what this error is? i'm using a disk copy of the game if it matters at all
