At what level did you complete Oblivion?
...and how easy or difficult was it?
When I first completed the game, I finished it at level 5. I found it pretty easy. Also, when does it get really difficult to keep Martin alive? Because I'd like to complete the game again at a higher level, but not too high that it would be impossible to save him from dying. |

First character at level 20ish.
On my beast, I did practically everything at 56 at ~90% difficulty. I still didn't find it too difficult as I had tonnes of buffs. I spose it would've been hell without all the goodies equipped. |

Well the enemies scale to your level, so if you're a low levels, then the enemies will be quite easy.

I finished the main quest before I did Guilds or the Arena. So, it didn't leave me much time to level higher than I did at that point. Now that I've completed the game completely I'm at level 23 now, but now I have nothing to do, since I did everything already.
I only wanted to know if it was going to be extremely hard to keep Martin alive if I did the main quest again at a higher level...say, level 30. I just wanted it to be more challenging, but not so much that my essential people die right away. I'm already working on another playthrough and this new character is at level 24 right now. All is going well, so far. |

I was at lvl 25...and it wasn't to complicated, my character is stealth based so I kept getting all the bonus damage and could usually kill any thing in about two hits

I beat the main quest at level 16 but that was because I did all of the guild side quests first.

I was only like level 6 when I finished the main questline. I did it before doing any guilds or side quests. It was incredibly easy so once I get 1000g on this game I'm gonna go back and try to get to at least level 30 before I finish. The reason my level was so low is that I didn't know only major skills help you level up and all of my major skills were things I thought I would be using, but I actually didn't. Acrobatics was the only good one so I basically got to level 6 by jumping.

lol I'm level 20 now, and have not even touched the main quest other then escaping the sewers. I'm doing pretty much everything else first... there is just so many distractions! lol

Oblivion has to be the only game that's harder to complete if you are a higher level.

Level 28. I did a lot of boosting stats too so maybe a third of my levels were of the fake variety. Regardless, this game was so much fun.
Like fine wine, Oblivion is best enjoyed slowly. |

Must've been glitchy though. I once received the message about resting to level up when I increased my Restoration skill. Restoration wasn't one of my major skills |

You can actually just lower your skills to lvl up more the max is 255 i think but its not really worth it.cause you cant go past 100 per attribute.i was like lvl 70 or but i was doing all the achievements and all the dlc and nearly every side quest on that game before i completed it all.

I was Lvl 50, and it was extremely easy, you should't have a problem if you complete the game with a higher leveled character

you must be joking... did you turn the difficulty setting all the way down? Cause in my experience leveling up usually makes things harder.

Level 10. It was extremely easy. The only semi-tough part was when you had to defend Martin while the three Oblivion gates open.

yeah that part pissed me off because he would always run straight into the middle of all the monsters and died within a few minutes...

theres no friggin way you can beat this at level 5! i was level 45 & put in 249hrs real time gameplay. therw is a way,by using soul gems,to keep your health up. but that requires ALOT of time & leveling to do! now martin i can see. i cant even keep the fisherman alive. the one you need to bring the scales to. however, i have managed to keep martin alive every time. the npc characters do do really stupid things in every rpg i've played. just to bad no co op online. but this rpg still holds its own ![]() you should get into exploring & side quests. go anywhere do anything. my favourite part is the arena. i also like,no matter your class, you can develope any skills. ie a warrior can use magik. |
