THQ Delay Stick of Truth

Losing more and more hope in THQ. Everything seems to be about quality, but we know they have had issues with money, so I am not being fooled here.

Really disappointed that the game got delayed. Been looking forward to this since its announcement and even more when I saw gameplay at EB Expo a few weeks back.

Looks like it is a two month delay. Now back to the real fun- reading financial statements!

Well all I have to look forward to in 2013 so far is GTA V. Was never big on THQ not really a surprise but still sucks.

Is it possible the delay is due to Obsidian's Project Eternity super success on Kickstarter? Also is THQ funding this solely or are they more of just the publisher and Obsidian's bankrolling it till it's out the door?

I don't quite get the whole Fiscal year thing. People are saying April/May/June but that's UK isn't THQ USA based? According to Wikipedia the start is October.. Stupid confusing stuff.

To throw some more confusion in, it isn't always a cut/dry "fiscal year by country" either. Several companies (despite location) often have their own fiscal year. Stockholders along with members of the company know their own schedule. Unfortunately, they often forget to convey that info in annnoucements such as these.

I dunno how much longer THQ is gonna last at this rate. I'm sure another publisher would jump on board with this game if THQ tanks, much like what happened with Ghostbusters.

My main concern for the game now is that in order to recoup their moey quickly, THQ will rush this one out the door as soon as they can. Rather than being the detailed game we and Matt/Trey were expecting it will be released with some bits missing and full of glitches.

Let's hope you're wrong about that, Ubisoft will hopefully allow the effort to go into this game so we can get the product we deserve

I expect a May or June release. Plenty of other games coming out soon, so no big deal.
