I can pull off a unblockable attack but I just can't seem to pull off a brave edge attack. Can anyone explain slowly the buttons and exactly how to do the move. I'll try any character but I normally play as Mitsurugi. thanks a bunch.

The brave edge is pressing the X Y and the B button at the same time while doing a specific move. That button combination is also put on the right trigger by default. I use Xiba the most, so his is the only one I can explain off the top of my head. You can start one of his moves by pressing down to get him walking. As he is walking press X and before the move finishes pull the right trigger to do a brave edge. It works that way for every character.
If you pause the game you can also bring up a move list. It shows you exactly how to do every move for your character. The Brave edge attacks are marked with a "BE" to stand out. I hope this helps. |

A quick and easy one is using Astaroth. Sidestep down and press RT and you'll do a brave edge uppercut with your axe. You need to have sufficient soul gauge power to do a brave edge though

The brave edge attacks vary depending on which character you pick. You need to fill at least a quarter of your soul gauge bar before you can perform one.
The easiest in my opinion is Nightmare. ![]() , ![]() (Edit) Keep your eye on the text that appears under your HP bar. You will know when you've done one because it will say "Brave Edge" among other things, normally 2-3 hit counters. Hope this helps. |
