I'm stuck with Rouge in Security Hall!

I'm not sure is it a glitch or not, but I am unable to get the Treasure Scope item from Security Hall, as I do not have Iron Boots, which breaks iron stuff. But How am I supposed to get iron boots If I havent been in Mad Space yet? I have done only Dry Lagoon and 2nd is Egg Quarters and now 3rd Rouge level is Security Hall. Did my game break? As some emeralds are inside the safes which I cannot open and I'm unable to finish the level.

I did read the Upgrade list but I didnt get one thing - is there a way to get iron boots other way too or you have to get to mad Space to get them? There was said that on last mission in Dry Lagoon but I was unable to finish Dry Lagoon Mission 3 because chao is behind iron boxes...

"Required For: The final mission of Egg Quarters. Alternative solutions exist to the paths opened up by this item in the final missions of Dry Lagoon and Security Hall, and also in Security Hall's 3rd mission (to find the Chao)."

I do not get that part very well :C . I'm losing my patience grr, I cannot get the last emerald in Security Hall because it's behind a safe, but I need Scope to get to the safe, but I can't reach to scope as it's behind iron boxes and Iron boots come in Mad Space, but I havent even been there. I'm so confused :S.

You do not need iron boots to get through the game's story mode but you do need them for certain missions.
If it's behind a safe I think there should be a switch to open them. (how do I remember that when I haven't played in at least 5-6 years)

Just keep playing through the story mode and you will be fine.

Don't forget, there are switches at the very top of the level for vaults.

I had the EXACT same problem, I couldn't get one crystal as the iron boots will be unlocked in the next level of her. I just simply restarted the mission and it worked out..

There are switches in the security hall up at the top. You choose which safe to unlock by these switches. The one's with the 'GUN' logo blinking in the center, are the ones that are unlocked, and are the ones you dig into the center of to open.

Just to help out here - You also need Rouge's Mystic Melody to access the Radar scope. Just a way of SEGA providing more replay value to a game that has a lot of it to begin with.
