Winning a cup in Clubs Seasons for the achievement ?
I'm looking to get a few players together to try and win a cup in pro clubs seasons later today when the cup window opens (3PM UK time) and see if it unlocks the achievement for winning a cup.
It says I'm currently qualified for the EA Shield in both Clubs and regular Seasons, so maybe either shield could unlock the achievement. Im next to useless in one on one games so i cant see myself winning a cup in Seasons anytime soon lol. If anyone's interested and wants to give it a try, send me a message and ill invite you into my club. |

The achievement is for winning a cup in seasons mode not pro clubs.

does anyone have any tips for getting this achievement then? i am pretty terrible at this game online, and its a miracle for me to win one game, let alone 4 in a row... or is there any possible way to boost it?

Just practice. You cant really cheat it.
You could use a guest who's good and work with him.

what about in the catalogue where you can buy a seasons win, do those apply to the cup or just the actual season?

You cant buy a win surely? Just an extra game if your in a bad spot.
EDIT: Just had a look. That really stupid its cheating! But it only applies in seasons not cup mode.

haha, ok. just wanted to check. i was hoping for an easy win, but i thought that was too good to be true. guess i'll just have to keep trying at it then.

This achievement wouldn't be as much of a problem if it was time based. So annoying that the cup isn't active all the time.

ok for everyone having issues with this achievement, i have a good strategy to boost this one. first you need to pick a low rated team and have a friend pick the same exact team but with a different jersey color. this is the important part now, go to matchmaking settings, and set the club quality matching to "restrictive" (this matches you against other players who picked a team with the exact same team rating as you.) then set club type to "match mine" (this allows you to play against only players who pick teams in the same club as you.) if you want added control you can set guests to "match mine" as well (its up to you if you want to add a second controller as a guest or not, but your friend must do the same thing as you.) now when you search you will more than likely find your friend and you can play each other. after this game, obviously one person will advance and the other will have to start over, so if you want to make sure you win the cup, just wait for your friend to win a match and you can meet up in the quarter finals and repeat. the downside is that you have to wait for your friend to win enough games to catch up to you, or add a few more friends to boost this all together.

if you're interested in helping to boost this achievement message me on live. 5 or 6 people is probably the best amount. saturday is the last day i will be able to do this for the current cup.

Ive got to the final twice and lost both times. 1st time my opponent was too good, only beat me 1-0 but i couldnt even get the ball and the 2nd time my opponent didnt deserve it. He's keeper should of been sent off at lease twice for taking out my players and not getting the ball and should of awarded me a pen or 2! He's 1st goal he triped my CB in the area and then gets a free header and his 2nd his player tangles with 2 of my players bringing them down and his other player just ran through and FIFA goaled it!

I got to final 4 times before winning first 1 across keeper. 2nd across keeper 3rd random dc not from xbl or ea servers but alas counted as a loss so when I won 4th time you can say I was happy
