Problems saving MyCareer mode.

Hello everyone. This is less of a open ended thread and more of me asking if anyone has experienced anything similar to me.

Alright, so long story short, I was playing MyCareer, did the rookie showcase, got drafted, that was all fine. Then, it attempted to save. It didn't. It said something along the lines of "attempting to reconnect to the 2K server, you can quit by pressing A at any time." It wasn't exactly this, but something close to that. So I thought it would be cool if it wasn't on the server, so I just quit, as I thought it would be saved to the HD. Of course it wasn't. I tried to reload the game to continue and it sent me back to the rookie showcase. This happened about three times.

Finally, yesterday, after trying it again, I just left it. About 7 minutes later (it went through two Jay-Z songs) it actually saved and continued. So I know it'll work eventually, it just takes a lonnnng time.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like this? I tried asking on the 2K forums but it was deleted, probably because I didn't format it properly. My connection is all fine in other games and it's pretty quick, it's just this. So yeah, can anyone help?
