Leon-Chapter 4 Boss Fight

Hi guys, i'm a bit stuck on chapter 4 (the boss fight).
The main thing i'm stuck on is when Simmons has mutated and he is running alongside the train, or running in front of the train.

I'm stuck where your on top of the train, and he is running towards you, and you have to shoot him in the head. Do you have to use the sniper rifle? I just watched a video on youtube, and that's the weapon the person was using, and it stopped him, and there was a cutscene/the ending of the chapter. I keep running out of ammo

I know it's not too difficult, but I find it hard to aim at something while it's moving. What guns would you suggest, I should use? Thanks for your help.

i just shot him once with the shotgun when he was close

I used a quickshot with the assault rifle and it worked for me.

this is what i would recommend in general, quickshot with the assault deals great damage to the enemies and aims for the weak spot. side effect is that one piece of the combat gauge is gone.

i also do it in merc mode, teamed with one used leon costume 1 and only used quickshot with assault, worked great, was placed rank 56 yesterday on the leaderboards with my teammate and got a ton of skill points.

So the quickshot with any weapon, or the ones you suggested should work then?

How do I look at my inventory menu? What button do I press, i've forgotten.

You switch weapons with and for health & grenades and if you want to mix something up or check the rest simply press .

Edit: Btw I also used the Shotgun. In his face!!!

aussault is the best choice for quickshot imo since even if you shoot yourself there is only one shot. hand and machineguns are obviously not a good choise for quickshot.

left and right D-Pad for weapon and Y for inventory.

Ah thank you, I couldn't remember how to look at how much ammo I have.

How do you use grenades? I've picked some up in the game a few times but not sure how to use them.
