Which Edition Will You Be Getting

So was just wondering which edition everyone will be getting (either at launch or afterwards)

Ive gone for the standard edition as I'm not really that big of a COD nerd, i play to earn the achievements and then leave it alone.

Some of my mates who only play COD are getting the Hardened copy.

And one of my mates has pre ordered the Care Package edition that literally comes in the form of a care package with a remote control MD27 Dragonfire Drone.

Be good to hear just how much of a COD Nerd you really are lol!

I'll be getting whichever edition the library nearby buys (obviously standard). I'll check it out so I don't have to pay for it, beat the campaign on veteran and take it back. That is all.

If I can get it cheap enough I will get the hardened edition as all I really want it for is so I have a steelbook set of Black Ops and Black Ops 2, I'm a bit of a steelbook nut, but I still don't want to pay more than I have to as 1) I don't think there is much difference gameplay/level design wise from previous COD's and 2) I will not be able to get all achievements, as this is Activition and Treyarch and will release at least 2-3 map packs at 800-1200MSP and I don't do map pack DLC, only solid SP content(I only have the MW3 DLC's because I got hardened edition for the steelbook again).

Nah I've just pre-ordered the regular edition.

If there were things like early access to DLC or whatever then i would consider the more expensive ones... but really, not worth paying all that money just for some black ops branded gear!

And I'm getting nuketown so it's aaalll goood

You get a zombies version of the original nuketown (or it might be nuketown 2025, not sure. Pretty sure its the original) if you get the hardened or prestige edition. Personally I'm going with hardened pretty much solely for the nuketown zombies. I'm pretty sure hardened is $70

sooo...I'm guessing your not into zombies then? I will almost certainly buy a year of elite as soon as they announce the first maps and confirm that zombies maps will be released. The zombies maps were the main reason I bought the DLC for black ops and each one was well worth the money for me, esp when you consider the amount of time I put into them!

It's not that I don't like the zombie mode I'm just not a big enough fan to pay 1200MSP for 4 other maps that I'll never use, if they had released the zombie map by itself for 500-600MSP with achievements(as the achievements are only related to the zombie mode in the DLC) then I may have bought it.

Hardened edition, could'nt pass up on the nuketown zombies and the soundtrack, I'm a big music guy and scores are what i like best. And any steelbook added to my collection is worth it, wish more special edition had them. Care package is way too much, $100 extra in the US for a RC drone thats worth $30 at best... no thank you.

Just the standard for me. ELITE isn't bundled with the Hardened or Care Package so there not worth it imo.
