I loved this game so much.
After playing this game for the first time about a month ago and falling in love with it. I was recently going to Youtube to listen to some of the songs from the sound track. Just after listening to the song at the end of episode one I was getting that feeling of first falling in love with the game. So what did that feeling make me do? Well I just bought the Limited Edition. After looking on Ebay and finding them new for 60 dollars plus and used for 30 plus shipping. I decided to check out amazon and I found one used on Amazon that said it came with everything in very good condition for 23 dollars (which seemed like a steal to me) Worried if it would have tacky Gamestop used stickers all over it I was reluctant to buy it. But after seeing the one below it sell. I took the risk. I went for it. After beating the game for the first I wish I would have bought this game the day it came out in the Limited Edition form. With all the cool extra I mean the 100+ page book loaded with back story and one of the best video game soundtracks on the 360 and the whole cool box set it comes in. Now I just can't help to feel like I'm 9 years old waiting to fall asleep on Christmas Eve. The arrival date couldn't feel any farther away. I am just really worried that it is going to have some type of "permanent Gamestop stickers" plastered all over it or that it is missing some of the content it's intended to come with. Oh the love and hate of waiting for something in to arrive in the mail. Sorry for the long and meaningless thread I'm just supper pumped to read the book and listen to the whole soundtrack. So for anyone that read the whole thing did I get a good deal for the Limited Edition and is it worth the extra cash for the bonus stuff beings I already owned a standard edition.
tl:dr version Just bought Alan Wake Limited Edition (used off Amazon). Super pumped. Hope it doesn't have any tacky stickers on it and that comes with all the content. Is the bonus content worth it even if I already owned a standard edition? |

ya the Limited Edition for this is possibly the best out there. Great extension of an already amazing game. As far as soundtrack goes I must say when "Space Oddity" kicked in, I got goosebumps. It was perfect.

One of the first game in a long time that has a gripping story line and is still fun to play. Can't say enough good stuff about this game!

I waited for years to get this game. It seemed like forever. By the time it released I only had PS3. I just picked it up earlier this week. I am totally blown away by how amazing this game is. From story to gameplay to soundtrack to just about everything. This is also the closest thing to a survivor horror I played recently so that was very nice surprise as I wasn't expecting it to be so true to survivor horror roots.
I will sure pick the Limited version one day as it is one fine piece of art. I'm also very happy that I am completely done with it yet. I think I will go for full game score on this game, read/listen to Alan's book, rewatch the Night Springs episodes. Best $10 I have spent recently on a video game.

This was a game that one of my roommates in college owned, but that I never thought to actually pop in the disc tray. I found it this past summer for rental at my library and I actually ended up keeping copies of it for the next three months. I'm sure the library was grateful when my little brother gave it to me for Christmas. I'd been circulating copies from three different cites xD

I played Alan like 1 year ago and I simply got bored of my xbox or had something else to do, and Alan got stuck in 3rd episode on Normal difficulty
![]() just a month ago I thought I can plug in my xbox and give it another try and start to grind my gamerscore from the very beginning Alan Wake is really a very good game and I'm thrilled to play it.. finished it (leraned how to play again) on Hard difficulty and now I'm at the start of 4th episode on Nightmare and I find it really much much easier now ! Didn't have so many supplies on me before and I'm guessing it's even easier than Hard difficulty ![]() what I'm trying to say here, that I love this game too tho !

Recently replayed it and it was a great experience once again. Still keeping hope for a true AW sequel but the XBLA game we got last year was also really good.

One of my all-time favorites...for any platform. I don't enjoy MP that much, and to have a game that was this well-written, designed, and produced felt like a blessing in today's gaming world. I also loved the replayability factor...especially Nightmare mode!! The DLC was also pretty solid...with some very challenging cheevs!
