Meta Mission Achievements?

What exactly does this mean? I couldn't find anything in the Achievement Discussion thread, and these seem a little mysterious to me. Does this mean Co-Op mode?

The Meta-Games are actually scoring systems during gameplay of the Campaign.

As in, you're scored based on how well you did and some of the things you did.

Bungie has yet to release the point system, but there are a few things I can tell you.

Teamwork apparantly nets you more points (If you use the Plasma Pistol on an enemy and a friend kills them with the Battle Rifle you get points).

Killing certain enemies nets you different amounts of points.

Methods of killing enemies nets you different amounts of points (like death by headshot would be worth more than death by filling their body full of gunfire).

However, most of this is unconfirmed. We don't yet know if this will be available in Singleplayer Campaign or not. And the "team play" is also unconfirmed.

But basically, I just gave you the definition of it as Bungie has told us.

On the Bungie podcast they said that to get the achievement, you have to play WELL on Heroic with one skull turned on. So depending on the skull, it should be pretty doable if the difficulty is similar to H2. Does anyone know if the metagame can be played single player?

great now i can brag to my friends like ha ha i got a 200,000 meta gme score beat it if you can.then you do the hahahahahaha cartman dance in front of him.

If you use a skull that makes the game more difficult then you get points but if you use a skull for 1 hit kill for example then you would get minimum points........
