Popularity Contest not working

This one is to make 20 friends and I do the mission to make them my friend and it says progress 1/20 or whatever im on like 5/20 etc. Then out of no where i go do another mission like fetch for someone and when i get it done it says 1/20 agian for achievment progress. Anyone care to help?

I was trying to do this today i did not even have the counter show up and was sure i did more than 20 but just kept doing it and it unlocked just before i started a new game like someone said in the guide. My demon doors are all open and no achievement now this game is fucked

When you make a friend, interact with him or her until you max out the relationship. Otherwise, they'll backslide to neutral. Don't go on any dates if you have the lover's expressions otherwise the friends will change to lovers.

Sometimes after you make a friend you can lose them if you do something they don't like. I had a lot of problems with this one the first time I tried so I waited until I started a new game and made 20 friends in Brightwall before I started any major quest or anything.

For the Demon Doors there is also one in the Ravenscar DLC. Have you opened it as well?

Yeah i had the same problem. It just would not stop glitching for me, got to 20. Then it jumps back to 1 D:

I hate glitchy achievements so bad. There are so many these days.

Adopt or make 3-4 children. Buy as much toys as possible before you start. They will ask for porcelain dolls which can't be bought. You need to look for them in houses you own, in wardrobes etc.

nice expressions --> Wants gift --> Give gift ---> Repeat

btw you need to do all 20 in one sitting. If you wait too long you lose friends
