There will be no Black Ops II console. You can think and think until the cows come home, but you will be wrong, because this would be a massive money drain for Microsoft.

though i agree that there wont be a console editions of black ops 2...

gears 3 console sept 20ish, mw3 console nov 7ish... (ishhh because im not googling release dates, im pretty sure those are pretty accurate though.) so this proves that microsoft is not afraid to release limited edition game specific consoles within such short times of eachother.

it would not make much sense at all to do 2 consoles in practically the same week... and anyone buying a console this late in the game is getting robbed, because there is no doubt in my mind that next-gen is sooner rather than later.


another thing is (after reading more)...

Black ops released a PS3 exclusive console... it wasnt anything special, only a slim ps3 with a copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops and DLC, i know, because i bought it

i went to the gamestop expo and i saw no sign of anything Black ops 2 themed at the Microsoft booth put got to play Gow BO and saw the new halo console overall the expo was amazing

As mentioned above, the pattern of there being a CoD themed Xbox only when there wasn't a Halo being released that year makes sense meaning we most likely won't see a Black Ops 2 console since there is already a Halo 4 console.

If I am being honest I don't see the point in getting the limited edition console and controller. they are expensive and there are only small changes to them i.e. the colour of the LED lights etc. If I ever wanted to customize my LED lights in my controller or change the face plate on my console I would just get the bits of Ebay or Amazon and do it myself. its much cheaper that way. And its fun to do!

Nope. Used rechargeables but it seemed like I was changing them every second day so when I went to buy a new controller I went wired and I can say i'll never go back.
