Why is the cost still so high?

After over a year on the market, a new copy of Catherine is still at the $40 mark. When most games slowly trickle down to either $20 or $30 after about 6 months. Can anyone explain what makes Catherine so high and mighty?

Probably because this game has not been manufactured massively, and the demand is still quite high.

We cannot compare this game to a blockbuster (Fifa, COD, Battlefield and so on) where millions of copies are sold within the first weeks/months and then, when they have a decent return on investment, lower the price to keep sales going up.

Just my 2 cents...

gamefly had a sale on this recently, and it was like the 2nd or 3rd time. for $15 used. just gotta pay attention for deals if you're looking to get it cheap. don't rely on retail...
