Favourite car to take round the ring?

What is your favourite car to drive around the ring? not the quickest but your favourite, the one you enjoy the most.

For me it has to be the Aston DBR9

With 600 cars there's no way I could choose one. I've had tons of fun with the Zonda R but just as much in an online multi class race in my 190E.

But it's a very high speed track so the slower cars don't offer as much there unless you're racing someone.

Don't race that much on the Nürburgring (can't stand sticking to 1car/1track/1class), but within the rotation we have with a friend, we go there with a Porsche 911 GT2RS in R3 800. Fun, but not memorable.

Because I'm completely different, I prefer using the Saleen Raptor.
I just like the engine noise more than anything.

I just screwed my expert run on F1 2010 by forgetting to reset the assists before auto saving so I'm back on Forza (hearing that menu music again feels so right, 270,000 Cr waiting for me wasn't to shabby either) and first on the list is the SRT Viper on the Ring, after Autovista obviously.

Edit: just did the race at Laguna to unlock it in Autovista and it handles pretty damn well stock, should be awesome with some racing brakes and maybe slicks.

On par with the 205 T16 it has the most insane turbo sound in Forza 4. Just love it.
And the car isn't half bad to drive either. Looks wise, it's quite nice too (especially with a Normandy SR2 skin ).

Just love Vipers, but this one is extremely slippery when the tires are cold!

Its the new leaderboard car there.

Next weekend (31 August-2 September) we should actually get around to having a challenge.

I propose 3 options:

1. Sauber at a point to point on Nordschleife
2. FR-S at Maple Valley
3. Peugeot at Fujimi.

That is what I did the 360 lap Le Mans Challenge in! Went over 3,000mi in it that race. Amazing ride and I unlocked the 1,000mi BMW badge/title!

For me it was the Boss 429 Mustang. Just love driving around the muscle cars. Takes a lot to keep them under control.

Me too, I've never taken one on the Ring but I have several classic Mopar cars (Daytona, Superbee, Dart, Baracuda, Challenger) upgraded to A600 with WWII style fighter plane liveries on them and they're my favourite cars to race online. I only have handling upgrades on them since they already have all the power they need but it doesn't get much better than overtaking people in cars with better handling through corners.
