Le sigh, I've spent a few hours trying to get Jenkins and still nothing yet. It's nice to see people posting their methods, I just hope one of them works for me soon.

So I finally finished Level 5 of Open Wide! to unlock Shotgun Sniper. Shotgun Sniper automatically said I completed 3 levels of it (I've noticed a lot of other challenges do that when they are enabled, I'm not sure why Gearbox didn't just enable them from the start), so naturally I thought the achievement would pop (I've already found Jenkins and I've done the "hidden" challenges), but it didn't. I have to have another look at the list to see what I missed.

Edit: After reading through the list again, I think I may have missed A Squall of Violence (Kill 20 enemies with bladed guns), but I'm pretty sure I did that already. I'll update once I get a chance to check.

Edit 2: I finally got the achievement. I was missing the Bouncing Betty grenade kill challenge.

Everything I've read tells me that I need lvl 5 Open Wide to have Shotgun Surgeon, but I only have Open Wide at level 3 but have Shotgun Surgeon at (i think) 4. Everything else is at least level 2 as well and I still don't have the achievement. Very frustrated. I'm going to try getting Open Wide to level 5 and see if that gets me the achievement. Hopefully I didn't glitch it somehow. Below is a video showing I have Surgeon without completing Open:

The challenge that unlocks after you finish Open Wide! is Shotgun Sniper, not Shotgun Surgeon, maybe that's the issue you're having.:

From the guide:

Shotgun Sniper
Kill 10 enemies from long range with shotguns
This challenge will unlock once level 5 of 'Open Wide!' is completed.

You can't see Shotgun Sniper yet because Open Wide! needs to be completed first.

I always though that Jenkis will scream the classic "LEROOOOYYYY..." etc, can of disappointed he does not. He fells like a regular mini-bot, nothing speciall about him except the challenge and the stupid low rate of times that he actually appears.

Also, we and my 3 mates found him. I was the one killing him, none of my mates got the challenges. For people who only play Co-Op, that sucks hard time.

I was set two to three weeks behind because someone did that to me. Granted I shouldn't have had an open lobby, but specific kill challenges like that are stupid.

Whats a good spot to do the "im back! Shocked?" Challenge? I just cant get it...

Finally found that stupid Jimmy Jenkins then had to finish the open wide and splish splash challenges. Pyro Pete's bar in The Beatdown is an excellent place to farm both those challenges. I got about 70 close range kills each time I did it in about 10 minutes. You don't have to do the Tier 3 mission either. Just go in the bar, shoot someone to start it and kill every one. Once they are dead just go out, re-enter and repeat. You can also get your Moxxi pics too. I also got a bad guy to drop a legendary infinity pistol too.

I do have a question though that I can't seem to find answered...
If I complete one challenge on one character and do all the other ones on another, will I get the achievement?

I'm asking because I have two lvl 50's both finished with TVM so I can't access the Wildlife preservation quests anymore and so idk If I'm eligible to get Jimmy Jenkens to show on my characters if I just go there...
I'm confused can someone help!

As long as you have a electrical weapon you just have to get a second wind by electrical damage, you could do it anywhere really.

Just go down, shoot an enemy that has low health a few times and wait for the elemental damage to kill him.

Yes, you may still be able to find him there. You can also still find him in crates outside of that area, too. You could also try one of the co-op threads to find people who still have this mission and are trying to find him as well, but you haven't lost your chance to find him by completing the quest both times.

I'd suggest Tundra Express or Caustic Caverns. There are lots of enemies there (Varkids especially) that make it easy to make progress on most of the combat challenges. I got this one done by natural progression, but if you need a couple extra kills I'd suggest heading to one of those areas.

I just thought that I would let you know that the DLC challenges that are NOT AREA SPECIFIC still count. I had all of the challenges done except for Jenkins and when I finally got it, the achievement didn't pop. The only thing I didn't have to level 2 was the one for getting the seraph cyrstals in Pirate's Booty. Once we killed Hyperius and got the 6 more that I needs, it poped.

So ive just just got the shotgun and rocket launcher challenges to go, as well as the ones from the pirate DLC. Will i need to do the challenges for the pirate DLC as well?
