Civilians in this game?

Just wanted to know if there was any benefit to killing civilians in this game. I usually try not to kill the random A.I.'s but when u get close to them it gives you the option to just plain out execute them. So, does it hurt your CEO ranking if you kill em?

I can't think of any game I know where killing innocent civilians would give you a benefit. This game is no different.
