Elimination Event Tips??
Ok I'm on the 6th city but can't advance as I have 4 elimination events to do but they're crap!!
I can get 1, maybe 2 if I'm lucky and then spend the last lap trying to catch the other drivers making it impossible to get the full 3 or 4 cars needed to complete the event
I'm even using slower cars as I thought it would make it easier but that doesn't work
Has anybody got any good tips to help me advance as I only need to unlock the other 6 tracks to complete the game
EDIT.... SERIOUSLY.... almost upto 100views and not a single person has any advice for this event??

After googling the problem, I found a few helpful forums that made eliminations easier for me.
Here is what I do, based on the tips on those forums:
1) Make sure right at the start of the event, you boost and eliminate someone into a wall at the beginning. If you dont get one, just keep restarting the race.
2) It is easiest just to keep eliminating the same person over and over. After you eliminate someone, you will basically have to stop and wait for them to catch up. Saves trying to catch up the entire race and not actually trying to eliminate anyone.
3) To eliminate, I just keep using boost until I am up close and slightly behind and beside a car near a wall. Then I triple tap boost, which is a super powerful boost (cant do if you didnt purchase the boost upgrade in the garage) and slam into the side of their car. Sometimes just the strong collision is enough to eliminate them, but if it is not, you sometimes smash them into the wall which does the job as well.
4) I also personally found using the on-screen steering wheel with bumper camera the easiest to do well in races for this game, but the camera is horrible for elimination races, as you need to see what is beside and behind you. I suggest using the FAR camera, which you can change in the Help and Options of the Pause Menu.

That's some solid advice there, Arsenic. Thank you for sharing.
