Some good bug fixes there. Hopefully it's not too far away.

Good to see they are forcing a Nether Fortress, Blaze Spawner and Nether Wart spawn for new worlds, one draw of the 360 is the easy multiplayer but not having a Nether Fortress because of the limited world can suck.

When I played this morning (around 0830 GMT+1), there was no update. A shame I missed it before work.
Is there anything noticable except for the fixes? Any new items or something? As far as I read, there are fixes only. |

Just found this out from the new update.
If you had a bow with the "flame" enchantment and shot a pig or cow the meat dropped would be cooked an ready to eat. This is not the case now, it just drops raw porkchop/steak. Not sure if this is the way it's suppose to be or the other way (which I prefer). So has fixing all those bugs created a new one?

Watched a video last night about TU 9 and possibly what coming. One thing mentioned was Jungle biomes. This is what I've been waiting for. Throw in vines that are now climbable, and I'll be making my very own tree house. New blocks include the stone block with engraved squares in them forming a visually pleasing pattern. Look cool. Also rumoured is stair blocks can now be placed upside down, and half slabs can be placed either top or bottom on the blocks space. All these along with iron golems, are what I'm looking forward to the most. And spawn eggs if they make it in too.
I know this forum is pretty much dead now, but what is everyone looking forward to most? |

Also on a side note I do wonder if the upside down slabs will cause the same lighting glitch that happens on the PC version. |

Jungle biomes, golems, ocelots, villager breeding, trading with villager, etc.
What I want more than any of this, though, is having a larger world.

The two main things I want are ocelots and spawn eggs.

The video I watched said they might increase the build height. But for now, it's just speculation

I just remember the transition from xbox to 360 left a lot of games unplayable until they were converted for compatibility. Then it stopped. Even some games came out with a 360 version instead of being backward compatible.

Thats because there were no Xbox Live marketplace like when we moved over to Xbox360. So now any future console should be ready to go with the Xbox Live marketplace. I doudt they are going to make a whole new martketplace just for the next Xbox. lol

with the digital content ones eventually the 360s servers will be shut down to move onto the new ones, you run the risk of loosing access to everything you have downloaded if it gets deleted from your harddrive edit, i forgot about the old digital content for xbox though people didnt kick up much of a fuss over that happening because of the very small number of arcade titles at the time and the fact it wasent used anywhere near as much as it is now, most people would have had from that is 27 games where now our digital libraries can cover hundreds of them, it would cause outrage if they dint carry over now Last edited by RDrules; 02-09-2013 at 07:41 PM. |

Its not necessarily the marketplace, per se, but the coding for the games. I know Halo was ready-made backward compatible. They would have to encode the new consoles to emulate the old console unless the way the digital games are programmed allowed for future compatibility. Just food for thought. I hope they HAVE taken this into account since I have a vested interest as well. But then, I watched Insider Moves and all of the other videos that were made. And look what happened to them. Its all about corporations reaping as much reward as they can. If they think they can market a next-gen replacement arcade game, they may just do that.
