For shortcuts:

Do not step to the side.
Do not jump to the side.

Just lean left or lean right.

Bonus tips:
Leaning forward gives speed boost.
If you can memorize the puzzles, you can save time by not using x-ray vision.

both... the short cut enter is yellow. SO if the floor isnt yellow dont worry about it
