Cold Stream achievements

So, looking up the valve achievements for this I only see two:

Stream Crosser - finish the campaign
Connecting Flight - finish dead air from start to finish

So, do you think they will add a few for the xbox? Do you think they will leave these two and make them 125 gs each? Or will they just leave them and make them 50 gs each(I dont know what the min is on DLC).

I hope they do 250G for Cold Stream with 10 achievements and maybe another 250 for the other maps but that's just me.

Neither of those achievements was very hard to get, Cold Stream has changed a lot since I got the first one mind you.

It will probably be 250G and 560MSP like usual.

Bro, I highly doubt you did searching. If there are achievements, that's what two of them will be. Doesn't matter what game or DLC it is.

I call it now, no matter how many achievements there will be for this they will ALL be based on the cold stream campaign, I doubt they will add achievements to old maps.
Im guessing 250G 560MSP.
It would be Soooo sic if they pumped it up to 2000G With another separate 250G for the L4D 1 maps

Agreed! I would LOVE to see that "2000" next to one of my games when scrolling through the achievements page!

I did search. All you have to do is look up valve achievements. Those were the only two that were added. So it goes back to those scenarios I listed. I guess we find out in ~3 weeks.

There will be more, these were just incentives put out to encourage us to play the maps more and find bugs and problems for them.

I was pretty happy to have L4D maps in this DLC but you guys are scaring me with the whinning vs players stuff. Are these maps that different from the original ones?

The maps are pretty different, but I don't think the complaints about that are legitimate. They didn't change the maps because of whining VS players but rather the to compensate for the gameplay/style changes in L4D2. When you play the original maps it still feels like you're still playing L4D2, which you should because that's what game it is.

Basically if you're looking to for a L4D1 experience, you need to play L4D1, not L4D2 on the original maps.

I'm not really looking for pure L4D1 experience as I still have the game but I didn't want those maps ruined by the whining vs players in this DLC.

I don't ever remember them saying this was going to be free for us. Obviously it's free as always on PC. Wasn't it Microsoft that said it had to be charged if you want achievements and not Valve, hence the low price for the previous two dlc's?

True, if there are new achievements, it cannot be free. This is MS policy I guess. We can suppose we'll have something similar for this DLC (250G - 560 MSP?).

Valve havn't said if they will charge us or not but I heard they are allowed to release a free dlc per game as set by Microsoft.
I might be wrong but we will all be enlightened on July 24th.

That is true, but if that dlc contains achievements it has to be charged. I'm sure we will find out soon enough.

There are a few exceptions. The Outlaws to the End DLC for Red Dead Redemption had achievements, but it was free. They should do that more often.

I guess so. It just seems like any game site trying to get big could say something like that because those WILL be in the game for sure. Confirmed or not.
