Question about National Pride.

I hate to start a new thread for a single question but I haven't been able to find a clear answer to this.

So I understand that the nationality of your VP will count towards National Pride achievement, but do I have to include my VP in my Starting 11? I have currently defeated Spain 3 times, plan on taking another 8 wins. So will I unlock the achievement with 11 spanish players or do I have to play against the nation of my VP (which is Finland, and I don't want to play 10 against them, let alone have my line-up full off Finns)?

If someone knows the answer to my question please reply ASAP. Thanks.

I assume just using 11 Spanish players would work but you could just temporary change your VP's nationality to Spanish.

My vp is english and i got the achievement with 11 belgium players (with my vp in the subs)

I think the players have to be in their own positions. Can anyone confirm this? I didn't get the achievement with a full Croatian 11 (got tired of losing to the Spanish) as I had a GK as a defender, gonna try again soon with a "legit" squad.

No they dont have to be in the right positions, i played a LM in LW and a LW in RW also a CF in CAM, not sure about goalkeepers though maybe only one is allowed in the 11.

Well I finally succeeded. I had win twice because I got the other GK that I had just discarded from the first win, so I think it just needs exactly 1 GK.

That's incorrect. I got it having 11 German players, and I had to play a LB as GK. The achievement unlocked after the game.

Are you sure about this? I put together an entire Spain 11, playing Busquets in goal (seemed appropriate) as I never got a keeper, and didn't receive the achievement after I won.

^^ It unlocked for me. I don't remember the German players name, but I know he's a backup LB, and I played him in goal. Achievement unlocked. I had my VP on the bench, even though I had switched his nationality to German, but it didn't unlock. So, I beat Germany again, so I made sure I had all 11 starters as German. I didn't make any substitutes in the game, btw.

Thanks, I had another go yesterday and using the same team/subs and it popped. Not sure at all what happened the first time, I don't remember using any subs but I guess I could be wrong. Got it now anyway so I can also confirm a goalkeeper is not necessary.
