Yet to play Darksiders, but I checked the guide and the achievements look alright. Hoping for something similar.

but it was sooo.... boring... I didn't do that if I was going to get the achieve then I was going to painfully get it... So long... So much riding...

it took me like 25-30 mins max to get it after i beat the game on apocalyptic, and i never used ruin unless the story made me. its way easy, the environment one was the bad one.

Agreed... The riding 100 miles on Ruin was a bit much. Most of the others were fairly simple just play through the game cheevos.

Complaining about the achievements in a really enjoyable and easy game.. come on!

I hope they are similar to Darksiders! Was one of the most enjoyable game I played last year!

even the achievements are easily doable and fun, except probably the "max out all weapons and combos"

Just came across this it looks legit but there are spoilers due to achievements tied to beating bosses. But it looks easy enough I skimmed it to avoid spoilers but I didn't notice a hardcore achievement which I'm sure people will be happy about.

Yeh the first was great but massively unappreciated hope the second game gets more attention especially considering the state THQ are in financially.

Looks good. I saw the gift an item to friend achievement. I wonder if it's going to be just like Forza's auction house or if there is something else to it? That would be awesome if we could give our friends some of our loot that we don't want, whenever we want to.

In case anyone didn't want spoil the game by looking at the secret achievements, I paraphrased them and left the locations and boss names out.

Most of the Secrets are obtain an ability, complete a stage, defeat a boss, etc.

The only ones that stood out were "Equip Elite gear in each slot", "Perform three high dives in -location-" and "Obtain a the final skill in a skill tree".

Seems like a fairly straightforward list, though i hope leveling up weapons wont be as tedious as it was in the first one.

What a hell? Where is my Nightmare difficulty achievement?! I was looking forward to real challenge, what for its even created if there is no achievement for this difficulty?!

Just because there is no achievement for it doesn't stop you from doing it. The whole reason it was put in is for an additional challenge if people want it, if you were really looking forward to the challenge then you can still do it.

And I'd say it's safe to assume the trade with a friend is an online achievement atleast it's not a stupid amount of trades.

could that possibly be giving an item to an in-game character on a quest with you?

and i wonder if this game will be as easy as the first. I had to jump to apocalyptic difficulty from the get-go on DS1, and I didn't have any troubles with it. and i'm a "normal difficulty" type of player.

Probably for people who have done everything in the game including getting 100% of achievements but who still want more challenging things to do.

Why does there have to be an achievement for it's creation to have a purpose. The simple fact that there would be people that don't care for achievements that would play the difficulty simply for the challenge is reason enough for it to been created.

You guys speculating on the secret achievements do know that the entire list has been revealed right? Why not just look at the list and see for yourself? There are only slight spoilers as far as bosses go. I'm a huge fan of the story in this series and didn't find out anything about the plot that upset me. (I hate spoilers in games where I like story.) And no they are all pretty easy to get from looking over the list again.

Thank God there isn't a Nightmare Achievement. Otherwise getting 1K GS in this game would be, literally, a nightmare XD.

It's called Apocalyptic and there is an achievement for it, just like the 1st. It's gonna be brutal...

I'm not sure what you're talking about. Apocalyptic in Darksiders was ridiculously easy. Especially if you got the special armor set from beating the game the 1st time through. You do have to beat this mode again in this game. And it will most likely be just as easy this time around. I could be wrong. But I highly doubt it.

The guy above you was talking about the new Hardcore mode the game is introducing. Which is basically like Diablo 3's hardcore mode. You get one life and that's it. If you die then you have to start the game over. It's bullshit. There is no achievement for that though. So no one has to do it. That's what he was saying he's relieved about. And I agree completely.
