I have won a couple of Xbox Live MP matches & first MP win achievement has not popped. Anybody else experience this?

I noticed this too mate. Did you start both games? I found that it only popped if I started the game. Not sure if it was just coincidence or not.

It really should not matter. A win is a win..maybe just another bug ridden WP7 game.

The description is correct. You do NOT need to be the one that sends the invite.

To unlock this achievement you need to win the first multiplayer game that you play over Xbox Live.

Pass and play multiplayer will NOT work for this achievement.

Take the description of this achievement literally. If you lose your first multiplayer game you need to uninstall and reset the game for another shot at it.

so this is an unfair achievement as 50% of players would automatically never get this just by losing...

So I have now missed this achivment, however I have won like 60-7 games so far...

Will I still unlock the other achivments, win xx/ win 200 etc online?

Yes. Once you unlock the 200 wins achievement, uninstall/reinstall and win your next Live game, and you will get your missing achievement as well.
