M14 and FN FAL

So my friends prefer the M14 bc recoil just goes up and the FAL does like a little crazy 8 recoil. But personally I prefer the FAL. For me it just has a better feel.
Also I started using semi auto weapons to make it a little more challenging bc I find using automatic weapons way too easy now.
So how bout u guys now. Wats your preference between the 2 guns and perks do you guys like using with the class?

M14 is good /w grip, but iron sights are atrocious so gotta go RDS/Acog, so FN FAL is my choice.

m14 > FN FAL

if you get grip, its a beast gun. Thats all you need.

The FN FAL is awesome for Hardcore matches... puts enemies down quickly. The recoil isn't great though.
