Why Did I Get An Achievement?
I have not purchased the Crash Course DLC, but as I pressed start on the main menu of the game, the 20 Car Pile-up achievement popped up. I haven't even played Left 4 Dead in a couple years.

I thought this was strange too. Happened a little more than a month ago. There was a new update, and as soon as you got it, the achievement popped. I asked my friend, and he got it too. Curious, I checked the achievements of everyone I played with that day, and their most recent achievement was the same.
Just a major glitch, one of L4D's countless ones. Really, Valve, you think with your experience there wouldn't be so many. Oh well, one less difficult achievement to get.

Maybe the fixed the glitch for that cheevo, they probs just gave it to every one because so many plp were bitching

Yeah, it's a glitch that came with the update that seems to have unlocked it for everybody. Didnt notice cuz I got mine legit

I never played the crash course and i get it too simply by pressing start in the menu screen

I was really happy when I got this! Although I think it kinda makes me look like I'm better at the game than I actually am! Haha!

I've jut popped this game in after a long time not playing and this just unlocked for me......just a shame the rest wont!!

Just got this myself, wasn't aware of the glitch, but just noticed this thread. Fun to get a free achievement, but I also don't like getting achievements that I didn't earn. Oh, well, not much that I can do about it.

just loaded the game up and before i could select the storage device it popped up??? WTF I thought I've only got 3 cars on my count, so I checked this site and it's happening to allot of gamers. cool if your having trouble getting it, but now i have it, it's taken the fun out of throwing cars at other gamers to get this achievement.
WHAT THE FRAK IS VALVE UP TO???

i need help gtn Slippery Pull.....just need one person cause i got the two controller thing down now. Gamertage = Silent Kitten ps....will help with any other achievement
