They are still jumping you to 29/30. Both my brother-in-laws never play gears unless they are playing with me and that has been months until yesterday and they BOTH were set at 29/30 and got their supporter for Thanksgibbing.

I can also confirm that they are still upping people to 29/30. I had not played Gears 3 online since the beginning of Janunary 2012, and had only like 2 or 3 event ribbons back then. As soon as the main menu came on when I played last night, the little box in the corner popped up saying I now had 29 ribbons. I then played one match of team deathmatch, and when the match was over I got the achievement. Since I hadn't played in so long I also obviously had to download the updated achievement list since two more DLC packs had been reased since I last played, but oddly it only showed the list up to 1750, not the full 2000. Wonder why...

My War Supporter was finally updated today, now I am at 29/30. Have to hope I get it on the next event.

Well over a week now and still no new ribbon. What's the next US holiday? I suppose they may make a new event for that. It better not be fucking Christmas though

I agree. I'm tired of waiting on the event to change for weeks after it is supposed and then being utterly disappointed when it turns out to be a ribbon I have had all along. This whole process has gotten quite old and frustrating. Here's to hoping that maybe we get a change later on in the day, seeing as to how I have frequently played a match in the morning and nothing, but have come home from work that same day and people have posted here about an event change.

The event has changed to one shot one kill according to epic forums. I can't test this because I'm at work.

I'm trying to keep my hopes down so I'm not disappointed when the inevitable happens

I can confirm that the event has changed. I finally put this achievement to bed with this event. About firggin' time. Hoping for the best for you, man. I know this achievement has been a real trial for a lot of us.

There wasn't. It is still One Shot, One Kill without updating the event counter.

I think I missed an event day during this christmas one hopefully i get one more that i need. Do you remember how many ribbons were given out during the 12 days of christmas?

I played yesterday and it was "Brothers to the End" again and I got a Judgement ribbon. I don't know if it's part of the "Twelve Days of Gearsmas" thing, but I can confirm that there is another event up.

OP updated. I THINK based on replies here there were two more event changes since the Nov 30th one soI edited it based on that. I probably wont update the OP here much longer as I imagine there arent many players left from the pre "fix" group amd new players should pop socialite their very first match...the lucky bastards lol.

The event changed on Monday to "Can you dig it" and I got a Judgment ribbon for it, but I did not get a ribbon for "Hardcore Weekend." I started playing Gears 3 around April, so I know I couldn't have gotten the ribbon before.

Can anybody out there confirm that there was an event ribbon given for "Hardcore Weekend?"

I haven't got mine yet either. I still think i missed an event from gearsmas in December. I only need one more event still and have not gotten it in the past like 17 events!

I've updated it with as many events as I know for sure were confirmed to be true event updates and not just playlist changes. In other words, I haven't seen anyone confirm that Boom Snipes was a different event I.D. than the previous one, but someone HAS confirmed that the new one "This is My Rifle" is a different event than the one that started on Dec 17th because he got credit toward War Supporter today and hasn't gotten any credit toward it the past few days. He finally popped his Socialite so I'm glad for him.

I'm probably going to stop updating the OP here after the holidays. From the looks of it the last few people that were stuck as part of the original group where they were only missing an event or two are probably going to be S.O.L. soon unless Petenub changes it again to just put you at 30/30 automatically instead of 29/30. The folks stuck at 29/30 that can't get credit for any of these brief events that have beeing going up the past week or two.... I feel for you guys I really do, but your numbers are diminishing rapidly and at this point 99% of the players will be "new" players that will just get it their very first match so there won't be much need for this thread moving forward.
